"Ten years ago I had them make a cutting board that fits over our stovetop. It was a Christmas gift for my wife. She loves it. Recently it suffered some gouges . I called to ask if they could sand them out or replace the cutting surface. “Sure! Bring it in.” I went there this AM . While I waited, in less than 30:minutes they ran it through a huge sander several times, re-routed the edge , and I walked out with a virtually new cutting board. The price was amazingly reasonable. In fact , it was cheap. I highly recommend this place. Very friendly folks. My wife is very happy."
"When you only need 14 tongue and groove white oak boards to patch a1956 hard wood floor. They are the best. I will recomend for sure!!!"
"My new "go to" place for all my woodworking needs. Super nice people and very reasonable pricing! Thank you for five generations of knowledge and expertise!!!"
"These guys never did the sanding job they said they could do in 1 to 1 1/2 weeks. I pulled the job after almost 3 weeks. They never called me to say they were delayed and didn't call me back. They complained I might have to buy the sanding belt because I had epoxy in the cracks to stabilize the checking. The countertop is 36 x 90 black locust. I highly recommend Wood Revival in Salt Lake. They didn't complain about the epoxy and did the job in a couple hours for $100. Much cheaper than what it was going to cost me at Ellis."
"Had them plane down some wood for shelves in our kitchen. Reasonably priced and they did a good job with the cut. But, as soon as we got them back in our home they cupped like crazy and are now unusable. We called to get some advice and they said there wasn’t anything they could do. Maybe it’s our fault for not doing the research to know of the possibility of something like this happening when you plane down certain types of wood...but you’d think a company who does this for a living would give us some kind of warning or help us out when it did happen. I would have loved to have known that the quality of wood I brought in was not good enough to withstand planing. Before it was planed we had it in our house for a few days and there was no cupping. I did not know that such a thing could have happened. I’ve never worked with wood like this before. That’s why I went to a company I thought I could trust to help us out. I don’t think this review is inappropriate. I feel like we were not taken care of as well as we should have been."
