Evergreen Park

"I drove into this 24 hr park at 530 am to take a nap and take my dog for a walk. Was told at 7 am by someone who worked there I can't camp there. I wasn't camping. She said one of workers saw my van there at 530 am. I'm like,I don't work here, it's a 24 hr park...why are u knocking on my window? judgmental much? If someone loses there home and is sleeping in their van in a snow storm in an empty un used 24 hr parking lot at a 24 hr park why are u mad??? Would u rather them sleep outside? There's not enough beds or shelters to go around. There are over 3000 homeless people in slc. And this is only increasing. So if u are unsheltered and have a car to sleep in its more humane of u to sleep in your car so people without cars that are ubsheltered can get a bed. But yet there's no where to park with out judgement or harrassment, how humane is that?"

"Not much of a walking trail unless you walk around the huge field. Found an wonderful monument regarding the first African American Slaves who came to UTAH. Looked for a sign stating dogs need to be on a leash. Never saw one. The park does have one dog bag station to pickup after your canine/s. Enjoyed the day with my puppy. Families can reserve the picnic area. The restrooms are not open as of my visit."

"Beautiful park, especially good for younger kids but also has a fun light game for older kids. There is a huge covered picnic area. There are also scattered picnic tables around the playground and under the trees. There is a large greenspace with a kickball/baseball backstop and bleachers behind. The field is large enough for soccer or ultimate Frisbee."

"Great park! Plenty of shade and picnic tables under a roof, bathrooms, and the pleasant sound of Mill Creek running along the edge of the park. There is an awesome playground that entertains all ages from littles to pre-teens, a baseball field, and additional fields. There was plenty of room the day we were there for at least 2 large extended family groups plus other visitors to the park."

"Neat park! It has an older playground, but still fun to play on. A pavilion with picnic tables and restrooms. A large grassy area and it's next to the city library."
