"Bittersweet stay. This is a 2 star hotel in a 4 star location. The good. Great open lobby with lots of space and a bar and restaurant on site. Location - close to all the attractions, restaurants and shopping. Public Transit - bus stop is right outside hotel and provides free rides to town and ski resorts. Warm Cookies - makes you overlook a lot of issues with the hotel. The Bad. Rooms are rough. Rusty tub and tile/grout problems. Smallest toilet and toilet seat I have ever seen that is prone to clogging. Pool and hot tub, great feature but it needs updating. Customer Service. There are some great you tube videos on customer service. The staff and management should watch them. Welcome your customers, smile, make them feel welcome and valued. Anticipate problems that guests might encounter at a winter resort and have options/solutions for them (like dead car battery)."
"Great location and rooms. As a Gold/Platinum Hilton member we got $15/person /day to spend on food and drinks. We got breakfast with it. The dinner choices were limited and not great. The hotel is at a great location with many good restaurants at a walking distance. A movie theater next door. And if you are skiing - you can grab a bus from right across. They also have a heated pool and a game room- where we enjoyed TT and stuff. Would definitely recommend this place."
"I stayed at the Double Tree Park City hotel (The Yarrow) during the 2nd week of January 2024. The FIRST highlight was a call I made to the hotel and spoke with MIKE at the front desk. He was super helpful with many suggestions on other activities like dog sledding and food options and whether to make dinner reservations. On top of that, he's a super nice person and great demeanor. The room was comfortable for my daughter and I as we visited and went skiing. We did not make it to pool or hot tub but it did look inviting. The daily cleaning service was good. The room was well heated with outside temps in the teens. We typically grabbed breakfast (sandwich or fruit/yogurt cup) and coffee from the lobby shop. The location is very convenient to the bus stops and using the 'my stop' app was easy to locate the buses. There is a supermarket and restaurants across the parking lot from the hotel ... very convenient. The only thing I was not thrilled about was the tiny commodes (as a guy). That could use some updating IMHO."
"Really nice staff. Nice room and affordable considering time of year (new years, holiday-peak season). Nice heated pool. Nice bar/restaurant. It was so welcoming that they give warm cookies upon check-in/check out, a simple touch but really nice. Also, much appreciated to find a dog friendly hotel! Our dog is old, very small only 5 pounds, and has special needs. It was fun to be able to do a getaway and not stress about not being able to take our dog. Thank you so much for a nice stay!"
"DoubleTree Park City, welcomed us, first-timers to the area and proud Diamond members. Nestled right in the heart of town, its location was a dream, offering the convenience we didn't know we needed. The front desk staff? Simply stellar. Friendly doesn't cut it; they were the epitome of accommodating, ensuring every request was met with a smile, which just amplified our experience. Our room was clean and comfortable, perfectly sized for our weekend needs. The ample parking was a breeze, and the on-site restaurant was our morning savior for quick, tasty breakfasts. Now, let's talk treats β 12 days of cookies! The kids were over the moon, making milk and cookies a nightly delightful ritual during our 3-night stay. While we didn't dive into the sledding scene, the offer to check out sleds and get recommendations on where to slide added a nice touch to the hotel's charm. The pool and hot tub, adjacent to a game room, were open for business. The game room might not win any awards with just a foosball table and a non-functional air hockey, but it's the thought that counts."
