"The absolute worst apartments ever in Norman that I have ever seen in my life we have called in a dishwasher three times the nobody maintenance man comes and he tells you it's fixed and then the next time it floods out your complete kitchen and then you have to use all your towels and everything you have to dry it up and then they're going to threaten us to take us to court even though it took you six times to fix one AC ours by the way. And we are going to be on our fourth time with the dishwasher definitely will be going to court. And we cannot even begin to talk about the bugs and all the mice this place is absolutely disgusting...."
"I have recently moved into Broadmoor24 and have been blessed to find a place ran by someone as amazing as Suzanna Smith. She has been so helpful and efficient from the moment we applied. I've also witnessed the extent she has gone for current tenants affected by the pandemic in order to help them in every possible way. She truly CARES about the property and the tenants and it shows. She has a great maintenance team as well that has taken care of any minor issue upon moving in, as well as things I had not even noticed. I have felt at home since the day i moved in.. This place is a great place to live!"
"I just moved in about a month ago and what was at first very exciting became dreadful experience. Within the first week I immediately started having issues with my shower and although maintenance came right to fix it the problem just became worse and worse after weeks of being told if the issue didnt improve that they would call a plumber. Instead they kept sending out the maintenance guy. Was waiting for about a week For maintenance to come back and then noticed water leaking in hallway, bathroom, and my bedroom! (It was a lot of water) different people have been in and out working on this not to mention there are so many other problems that I’m also dealing with in this apt!! But we are currently on day 2 without any cold water! I have 3 kids and we are unable to shower! I am also waiting for corporates number but when I asked about it I was told by the manager that she had done all that she can do (which was calling ppl out to fix the issue that has yet to be fixed) so I will be making some phone calls tomorrow.. if I would have known better I definitely would not have moved here"
"I would put zero stars if possible. 1. The day we moved in, we walk into our apartment and find it flooded. We have multiple vehicles packed with stuff and no where to put our things. Hours go by waiting on a vacuum company to come suck up the water, so we go get a bite to eat. When we return (about an hour later), everyone has left the apartment, and two small fans are blowing on the soaking wet carpet. MANAGEMENT LEFT for the weekend without a phone call or text to let us know what the plan was for our flooded apartment. (We eventually had to turn off the fans because they kept flipping our breaker and turning off the electric.) 2. We put in multiple maintenance requests the week we moved in that were not completed by the time we moved out ( a year later). Some of the requests included exposed wire above the shower , a gaping hole below the kitchen sink, etc. 3. ALSO we found the day we moved in that our AC did not work. We were stuck in 90+ degree weather with a flooded apartment and no AC. eventually, we were given a tiny window unit that was supposed to cool the entire apartment. It took about a month for them to stop trying cheap “fixes” and get a new AC unit. 4. Sewage backed up into our bathtub and toilet TEN OR MORE times. Disgusting and unacceptable. We spent at least $100 on new bath mats and shower curtains because the sewage kept ruining ours. We were forced to hand scrub the bathtub and bleach it just so we could shower. (We were never offered reimbursement or apologized to for anything). 5. Next, maintenance never responded to after hours emergency calls. We had sewage in our tub and was unable to take a shower, use the toilet, etc. for over 24 hours. During one of the times, I had work the next day and was forced to call in because I had no access to a shower. This happened multiple times. UNACCEPTABLE. 6. Sooo many bugs were in this apartment when we moved in, and we finally got the number down by the time we moved out. 7. Management was in the office MAYBE once a week. We are never able to reach them on the phone. I have proof of everything I’ve stated. Now, we have been waiting for almost two months to get our deposit back. We were told it would take up to three weeks to receive our check when we moved out. Now, they said it can be up to 6 months. Not happening. If management would like to contact me and give me corporates number so I can get my deposit soon, I’d be more than happy to speak with them. We are OU students who know that everything can’t be perfect all the time. However, this apartment complex might be the worst in Norman. Cops came to us more than once asking if we knew who was selling drugs/ buying drugs in the complex. Management changed NUMEROUS times during the one year we were there. Again, my boyfriend and I will be waiting on a call or email regarding the return of our deposit SOON. EDIT: just looked at my lease. It states my deposit will be returned no later than 45 days upon moving out. Its well past that date."
"I love living here! The office staff is very helpful and if and when I have work orders I am always treated like I am a priority. My apartment is spacious and has everything I need! I plan on renewing when my lease is up!"
