Motel 6 Norman, OK

"This place deserves more than 1 star! Exceptional service at the front desk. Assigned me a room on the first floor, right by a side exit so I could easily step outside with my dogs. Place is located in what appears to be an office area, nice and quiet. I am travelling with my dogs, lots of green around, walkways and very clean. The motel itself is very nicely remodeled, Clean and very nice rooms with all amenities working. I was pleasantly surprised how well the room was equipped with electro outlets and charging stations. The motel and my room were super clean. I highly recommend this place - they really deserve 2 more stars!"

"i paid for a reservation through a 3rd party website, roughly a month in advance. on check-in day, i initially arrived too early, the room wasn't ready yet--no problem, i'll come back later. when i do come back i ask to just cool off in the lobby, the employee says it's okay, she just needs to scan my driver's license. turns out i was placed on a 30 day do-not-rent list i have NEVER booked any reservations with motel 6. neither have i been to their neighboring company, studio 6. the employee and her manager did their best to work with me, and i appreciate them trying their best, but we were all at a complete dead end. they directed me to g6 contact information, where they told me i was in the clear, A-okay to rent to, yet in-person i was blocked off. there was nothing any of us could do. again, i have no ill-will to the employee and the manager who helped me. even when i was emotional, they were kind and honest, and i treated them the same. but i don't think i can trust g6 properties for a long time after this experience."

"Well, I don't want to be overly critical but the housekeeping and maintenance could be better. My room had a strong dog smell. Tub and bathroom mirror were not cleaned. Mattress had holes and stains. Toilet ran all night and the fridge was very noisy. Service was great. Worth the money. Price was more than reasonable.** I'm going to share some video footage of my stay for people to draw their own conclusions, Every hotel around was booked this was literally the last choice for anything close to the university."
