"My dishwasher and garbage disposal was on the outs. I have home health and didn't want the 2 to be at same time. Instead of waiting which I conveyed to office was fine, they sent maintenance over within an hour!! Not only did they fix the problem, they worked within my schedule. Other apts that I have resided, I have waited 2 days to get my one and only toilet fixed. Polite and speedy with a smile. What else could you ask for? Thumbs up."

"The apartments were nothing to brag about despite the claims of recent renovations (fridge and oven were new) and was very different than what the photos portrayed. Water damage could be seen to the ceiling, prior repairs were not completed properly, holes were in the walls, the cabinets were falling apart (the maintenance man was over multiple times just to put a Band-Aid on because the apartments would not pay to replace) and the "new" carpet had stains and the seams were coming apart. Still, we took the apartment since we are not home a lot anyways, I work on the road. Unfortunately, the problems did not end there. We were told that the listed price was not available for our unit and then found out months later that we were paying more than anyone else in our apartment building… by a lot. Some tenants were there before us and some much later, so be wary of how much financial information you reveal. The apartments turn the water off multiple times a month due to failing water heaters and burst pipes (year-round and not just the winter time) sometimes not even giving notice before they do. The soap dish fell on my infant daughter’s foot during a shower revealing rot and mold behind the tiles, the maintenance crew put new tiles on the wall that didn’t even match and without any mitigation. The maintenance man sad that they were not equipped to handle mold. They are unable to keep employees there, but are reluctant to hire new ones constantly running on a skeleton crew and are closed multiple days a week, so if you need something that is not an emergency then you have to wait. There is not even a manager on the property location, forcing you to go to another location to speak with a manager. The manager at the other location, Kathi Tant, is a joke. She seldom returns emails or phone calls, is constantly out of the office and claims that she has to submit everything to corporate for approval. She literally has no perceived or admitted authority. To make matters worse, they do not perform proper background checks (or they just don’t care who they rent to). There was a known mentally ill man going around the parking lot vandalizing vehicles (my neighbor had a pole with concrete attached put through his windshield) and nothing was done about it until the police finally got involved. They do have a pool, but is closed more often than not. It was closed the entire swimming season of 2022, and they tried to blame the city instead of admitting their incompetence. Multiple times during the day and night, an awful stench would come through the drain pipes. At first we thought it was the neighbors, but as tenants moved out and we spoke with some of the neighbors, we realized we were not the only ones noticing the smell. Management of course refused to do anything about it claiming they did not know how to fix the pipes. When we decided to buy a home and leave the property, Parkway Villas was anything but helpful. My moving helpers were not able to assist and I needed 1 extra day to move my stuff out. Of course, I was charged (prorated) the extra day despite me living there for 2 years, Haley Residential (parent company) will never miss an opportunity to squeeze a buck out of you. They even kept most of my deposit claiming that I had damaged the unit and for cleaning fees. Of course, we took photos and the damages and documented them upon our arrival and departure. We also thoroughly cleaned the apartment and it was in much better condition than we had arrived. We reached out to Kathi, the ladies in our office were unable to assist of course, and received the runaround. She only promised to review the case then ghosted us completely. There is too much wrong with this apartment complex to list everything that happened during our time there. Just know that you have options and most of them are better than Parkway Villas even if more expensive, trust me you and your family deserve it. You have been warned."
"I’ve lived at parkway villas since 2017-present. I honestly have no complaints. When there’s any issues or something wrong inside and outside the apartment. Maintenance is right on top of it. Which I love. An example: Last year my a/c gave out during the summer which was the worst timing, but maintenance was quick to come in and resolve the issue. It did take a week or two due to having to wait for the new a\c unit to come in. (Which was COMPLETELY NORMAL) But they put it in and got me right as soon as they could. An while I was waiting for the new unit. They put window units in my apartment to help cool down the apartment, until it was fixed. They really took care of me. I never felt like I was forgotten or not a priority ever while living here. They always work with me. Especially the laddies in the front office. They are always helpful and very professional!! I love living here. I would 10/10 recommend if your looking into renting an apartment here. Also There’s lots of families that live here. So tons of kids for my only child to play with outside."
"Terrible experience!!!! I lived here almost 5 years… I paid my lease out a month early due to family issues… a month later a bill collector is calling stating that I owe $800.00 In damages to this place. I had a lot of respect for this place until the lack of communication. The property manager never bothered to reach out to me about the issue nor email me either. It went straight to collect!!! Don’t waste your time with this place."
