"This is an okay looking hotel and the location relative to the ski lift is great. The service is terrible. We’ve lost an entire day of vacation with our kids being shuffled from one room to another. We’ve been missing essentials needed to even unpack the bags such as hangers. We have asked and asked for things, been promised they are on their way but nothing. Management is ineffective and unhelpful and the concierge can’t do anything. Sad, because this hotel has potential if the service wasn’t so terrible. I wouldn’t waste the money staying here especially if you are traveling with kids. The difficulty that you’ll experience at this hotel isn’t worth it."
"Great location and modern building with nice rooftop pool and bar area, however the service aspect is lacking. Usually what makes a property stand out among five-stars hotels is the service, however that’s where this property fell short for us— along with a few room quirks. Service: - We didn’t have a bellman to help us with our heavy ski bags on check in or check out. Most five-star properties have an abundance of staff to help with bags. - We received incorrect information regarding valet parking that was frustrating to deal with. At check in, we were told valet parking was $35 (it’s actually $80). When our guest showed up to park, they were charged $80 to our surprise. We asked the front desk and they offered to reduce the fee to $35 for the confusion. This was a nice touch, however at check-out we were charged $50 for it. I didn’t feel like arguing over $15 so I let it slide but it showed disconnects among staff regarding how much parking is and there was no follow up on reducing it to $35. Room quirks: - The mini bar was empty. Just an empty mini fridge. Seemed odd. - The HVAC in our room (1301-3) was extremely loud. We left it off because it was annoyingly loud. - Street noise woke me up a few times (stayed on the third floor facing the front entrance). Drunk people yelling and a 5am sidewalk shoveler were surprisingly loud through closed doors/windows. I’d request a high room facing away from the front entrance if possible."
"Rooms are comfortable, but the hallways are falling apart, looks like a 3 star hotel at best. I arrived and I did not get any offer to help me with heavy luggage or have someone take me to my room in a different building. I also called and left a message multiple times with the concierge but it doesn't look like they do anything. My first night and the power went out in my room, Definitely not 5 star hotel or even 4 star. For the price, I wouldn't recommend."
"Very simple, don't bring your kids here. Restaurants are unorganized, concierge can't do anything for you, kids have nothing to do. Really not worth it. Go into deer valley and stay somewhere more established. And let me reiterate how useless concierge is here in booking anything. Happy to take tips but never follow through. Absolute waste of time and money. Go somewhere else."
"I recently stayed at the Pendry Hotel in Park City, and I must say, the rooms were impeccably clean and beautifully appointed. The hotel boasts a fantastic ambiance, and the rooftop pool and hot tub are undoubtedly the best in Park City. The rooftop area, complete with a bar, stylish furniture, and fire pits, adds a delightful touch to the overall experience. The proximity to the chairlifts in Canyons Village is a major plus, making it just a 3-minute walk to start your skiing adventure. The added perk of a Cadillac Escalade for guests' use allowed us to explore and ski at Alta for the day – a thoughtful touch by the hotel. While the staff were generally friendly, there were a few hiccups that stood out. Despite arriving at 1 am, there was no bellman available to assist with our luggage, which included suitcases and ski bags. Navigating through three long hallways and using two separate elevators to reach our room was less than ideal. Additionally, there was a slight hiccup with the staff misplacing our skis after a day on the slopes. These issues suggest that the hotel could benefit from refining their service, particularly in terms of efficiency and luggage assistance. In conclusion, the Pendry Hotel holds great potential, and with some improvements in service, it could become a top-tier destination. I may consider returning in a year or so, giving them time to address these concerns and fully realize their promise of excellence."
