"3 years ago we tried out this store and my God it was terrible. We decided to try it again 2 weeks ago because of new management and hey things can change. CATACLYSMIC MISTAKE! Our sales man was Luis, he was alright. The Manager is Cody and seems like he has the willingness and drive to help, but hands are tied when it's above his store level. My recliner was supposed to be delivered 11/23 and the people brought the wrong one. After a bunch of finger pointing I was reassured and GUARANTEED to have my recliner today 11/24 and guess what no call no show. Call the store and again Cody has NO answers. Says nothing he can do. A guy named Alan the GM of the wherehouse is DFW called and guaranteed delivery 11/25. Guess what the wrong item delivered again. Alan has no answers and even ghosted me. Cody made it right even though it wasnt his fault. Upper mamagement has no customer service ability. They ignore the customer and dont care!"
"I’m not sure who is actually to blame for everything but Conns has got me to a breaking point. We moved to this area a couple months ago and were staying with family. We finally had found a house but it did not have a refrigerator or washer and dryer so we went to conns 2 weeks before moving in to pick out these appliances. We had a set date for them to be delivered and it was in the books. The day before we received a phone confirming the delivery for the following day. The next day came and we had not received a phone call saying when they were going to show up. We decided to call the store to see when the time window would be and we were told that it was rescheduled without even telling us. We have a 8 year old , 1 year old and at the time a 2 month old with no where to put food/drinks. They told us to call the warehouse where they told us that they called the store and told them they needed to get people to deliver because there was not enough people that day to finish all the deliveries. After a lot of back and forth they said they wouldn’t be able to deliver it for another 3 days and that they would take $100 off for inconvenience. Fast forward, we are waiting for a bill. Never received one in the mail, email, phone call - nothing, until we get a text stating it was in delinquent. I called and told them I don’t even know how much to pay or my account number to look it up. When they told me my information l said I would pay it at the end of the week (2 days). The next day I received a phone call from this very rude man saying it was in collections until I paid it which I told him I had just spoke to someone yesterday and told her I would pay it at the end of the week. He kept interrupting me and I kept saying would you just let me finish. He then had the audacity to say “now you let me talk”. I’ve worked customer service for many many years and you just don’t treat your customers this way. If my family didn’t need these appliances I would have them come take them back and we would go somewhere else."
