"I am always looking for a bargain and this is definitely a place to find one. They carry pretty normal things but they do offer the occasional unusual item so you always have an element of surprise if you are perusing the aisles. The staff is always very helpful and the store is surprisingly well kept and maintained. I say surprisingly because, generally, stores of this type have a tendency to be in disarray, but the employees seem to do a good job of keeping things together, even throughout the day. I have purchased many items here and have never been disappointed with any of my purchases. They also offer a reward program which is tied to your email so that you get notifications of deals that could be of interest to you. Addendum: We went by Big Lots last night to pick up a few items and were helped greatly by the manager Kenneth as well as by the cashier on duty. There is a reason that we can continue to shop here, and people like them are a big part of it."
