"Unusually honest, competent, honorable people. The difference between the grossly underpowered 45-ACP and the .460 Rowland is immense. However, even my infinitely beloved 155 cm (~5'0"), 42 kg (~95 lbs) wife can shoot it without any difficulty. I am an old, USMC Vietnam Colonel, retired Professor of Plasma physics and Quantum Electrodynamics (QED), 200 cm (6'7"), size 13 hands, so it is a little pop gun to me. Even my .460 S&W Magnum and .500 S&W Magnum with heaviest loads are no problem, but being well into my 80's and very badly shot up in Vietnam (being the Chief Scientist for the CIA, while being so damned tall and big (135 kg or over 300 lbs), with a high price on my head by the damnable Chi-Com, I unfortunately seemingly attracted every bullet, mortar bomb, artillery shells, etc., I am sadly really feeling my body going to hell on me. Regardless of me and my fantastic wife, I strongly recommend the Glock M41 with an aftermarket cut rifling fast twist so one can then shoot your own cast bullets using cheap .45-ACP auto cases and do lots of practice on targets, then running rabbits and the incredibly destructive ground rats called ground squirrels. The longest barrel available makes a huge difference in muzzle velocity using the appropriate powder for the .460 Rowland. While the 45-ACP is limited to only 25,000 psi, loads for the 460 Rowland can go to 40,000 psi, which is maximum level for the strongest. 44 Magnum loads, or well beyond anything listed in the damnable Lawyer controlled load manuals sold to the massive number of Girly-boys we now have in America, because of the Rothschild's Communist control of American Femi–Nazis so overwhelmingly dominate here in America, most of western Europe and more. Please do your own homework on the maximum loads possible with the 460 Rowland. The problem that you will have is the very limited powder capacity of the case. Such is why the 460 S&W Magnum can achieve so much more power than the 454 Casull. Case capacity. I even have such troubles with my 8.6x70mm (.338 Lapua) Magnum, my 378 Weatherby and 416 Weatherby Magnums. Case capacity. I use longer, much heavier barrels than any factory barrels and much faster twist. The factory management is >125 years out of date with respect to the enormous advantages of faster to much faster twist on the rifling. Also, insist on 5R rifling — nothing else. Much faster twist and 5R rifling. Only. And longer, heavier to much heavier barrels. My MTU profiled 30" barrels for my Lapua (threaded for an oversized suppressor), as is the 378 Weatherby. The 416 Weatherby Magnum does not require such a long barrel as the expansion ratio of the 416 is sufficient to adequately burn all available powder within a heavy 27" bull barrel. An oversized suppressor is most definitely necessary for both recoil reduction and blast management. The 460 Rowland desperately needs all of the barrel length one can give it. The velocity loss in short barrels is, in my opinion, learned from experience in shooting longer and shorter barrels with the same loads through a chronograph is stunning. In physics, upon which all sciences depend, the additional length allows a greater amount of time to puch on the base of the bullet. This then allows the handloader to select a more energetic, slower burning powder to then maximize muzzle velocity."
"I have a 45 auto Kimber Custom TLE RL II. Even though it came with a threaded muzzle I did the 460 Rowland conversion kit and what I can say is I really like the power, accuracy on further out targets, and the feel of it when I shoot it. My only concern is how loud it is with the compensator on the muzzle. From behind, with ear plugs the sound is very loud. I've tried the auto ear muffs and they are no different. Honestly, it's just that powerful. Sounds like a 357 mag going off if not louder. Otherwise, I love it. Finding ammo for it is tough so when you do find it, stock up."
"Got my FNX45 done a 6 months ago! Shots like a dream! I need to get another T-shirt! They are great outfit to work with!"
"I have a Clark kit in my 1911 which I really like. I was curious about one in Glock, but the people here were very rude! After asking around , several people have reported I was lucky just to get them on the phone! Never had any problems with Clark product or customer service,, and they will keep my business over this outfit!"
"Here's a real shop that will take your call, give you their honest advise and help you on your quest for more cowbell. On top of good customer service, their machine work is top notch. Keep in mind, shipping may be slow but the product is worth it."
