"Beautifully clean store with many options I haven’t seen at the other local Costco. Was amazed recently when we bought the floor model of a workout machine and they held it as we traveled from over an hour away. We called and Ally took care of us as they moved it off the sales floor. When we arrived Jeremy the FES was incredibly helpful in checking out and loading! It barely fit in our truck, but thanks to Jeremy’s quick thinking and willingness to help it fit with 1/16” to spare. So thankful!!"
"I was going to write a review on how I was treated like a criminal by customer service. I see about 10 people here beat me to it. I have to show my card to get in, and I have to show my receipt to get out. But now, I have to show my card to check myself out?? If they want to offend as many people as possible, they have done it. I will not be renewing my membership when my year is up, and I will not be shopping in there ever again. They only time I will be back will be to get a refund on the purchase today. I was too shocked to just walk away and not make my purchase. Unbelievable!"
"Our family has been shopping at Costco since I was a kid. Since this Costco has opened we have been shopping there and really liked it. Today was not the first time I felt discriminated against at this particular Costco, which is disappointing. When I walked up to the self checkout the lady there stopped me and wouldn’t even let me start until she seen my card to make sure the pic on it matched me. This is the first time this has happened since I’ve shopped at any Costco. I asked her if this was new and she stuttered with her answer yes. Acting annoyed that I questioned it. (I did hear that they would be checking but that had started a bit ago and I had never been personally asked). I continued with my purchase and waited for her to ask others. Several white women walked up and she never asked the two on the carts rolling in. Then the third one she directed her to the other machines on the other side, WITHOUT checkin her Costco card, but when I walked up she wouldn’t even let me start without it? I confronted her and asked her why she didn’t check the other women? Why did she only check mine? She said she was busy talking to someone which she was but the third woman she was not talking to anyone and she could’ve easily walked over to each woman, (since it is what she’s supposed to do now), and asked them, but she didn’t and just waved them on. Is this how Costco workers treat people with darker skin in any way? Is it because I’m Indian, or is it because I was there with my teenage daughter? Maybe it’s the ignorance of one person, I have no idea. I have no issue showing my card, what my issue is, is only asking me for it and not anyone else when all of those other people were white and walked on by. Why pay for a membership for them to just discriminate against you because the color of your skin or your ethnicity? I don’t think I will be going back and I’ve never been treated this way when I go to Sam’s Club, but I have been treated this way on several different occasions at this particular Costco. I’m not trying to tell anyone to not go there but to be much more observant of how they’re being treated because that’s no way to run a business."
