"I have been coming to this office for more than 20 years, but things seem to be changing for what I feel is the worse. It feels like they have lost the personal service they once provided. I have had a different hygienist the last six times I have gone to the office for an appointment. Even worse, today I did not even see Dr. Mcdougall, but some other person. I cannot recall his name, but he did introduce himself by name. Unfortunately, he did not explain what he did, what his role and/or relationship was to the practice, or anything about himself. He just started looking into my mouth and having another technician chart things for him. I did not understand any of the lingo he was using, so I just figured it was something technical I did not need to know or understand. He also did a cancer screening which was already done by someone else right before he came into the room. You would think they could talk to each other or chart it so they would know what had been done. This is also the first visit where one person came in, introduced herself, and started cleaning and flossing my teeth before anyone removed the tarter and stains from my teeth. She just seemed to go through the motions in a couple of minutes. Normally this is done by the same technician who also scrapes the tarter and stains from my teeth. In the past, this was always done after the technician scraped my teeth of tarter. I do not understand why they did this in this order other than to mark it off the list. It makes more sense to me to do the final cleaning after all the tarter and stains are mechanically removed from your teeth. I know change is hard, so I will give them another chance to get things right. Otherwise, I will be looking for a new dentist who is interested in the person and not just getting them in and out of the office as quickly as possible."

They’re willing to explain things to me when I have questions about a procedure or what I may have to have done in the future. I never feel rushed or like I'm just another number to them. I’m thankful to have found a place where I can fully trust my doctor to take good care of me (& my teeth)."
