"Took my new Buick, 9,000 miles, in for service, they called and said I need an alignment. I inspected the tires, there was no uneven wear and drove straight without pulling to one side or the other. My wife’s sister bought her new Buick here the day before us. When I told her about this she told us she took her car in at 4,000 miles and was told she needed an alignment also, so she believed them and did the alignment. This does not sound right. Be aware! Now I am very concerned with Young GMC Buick Dealership Service Department We are in our later 70s, are we being taken advantage of?"
"Service and sales have completely screwed me over recently, supervisors and managers refuse to speak with me. I have a couple of questions for service, which my vehicle is still there and they refuse to speak with me. If the part is new, why is it already bad after changing it out? Isn't the new part covered under warranty? The whistling is from the diaphragm, and the new gasket cover comes with a diaphragm. They say a pigtail is broken and will cost me 559 for a maybe $4 part, but it needs to be removed for the gasket cover to be replaced, so why wasn't anything told to me about that part being broken prior to the work being done? Noone has removed anything or done any work prior, and the tech said he only noticed it after they ran the new part and reset the the fuel trims in the video, clear as day - which essentially means they were done when he noticed it. Which tells me they broke it and they want to give me a bid or charge me $559 for a maybe $4 part. Then he mentioned how the gasket cover was new cause it looked clean, and had a new sticker (which he confused a sticker for a gasket), so he said it was new, but that gasket cover comes in a kit with a hose and the diaphragm is within the cover and the hose did not look clean from what I saw in the video, when I mentioned this to him, he said it did not come in a kit. Since the diaphragm was bad, and it should not be bad "again" with a new part, I'm thinking they are trying to get away with anything they can and be dirty. They won't contact me back since I called them out on it. Their service manager Debbie refuses to talk with me. They have my vehicle. I've been out of my vehicle for over 2 months now. The sale's department is trying to get me to trade it in, and trying to charge me ridiculous prices for a new vehicle, so Ill be covered under warranty for the next 5 years. They will agree to a certain price, Stand around doing whatever the hell else, and helping other customers while leaving me in their sales office as if I have nothing to do, then tell me they can't honor that price, and come in with a price on the same vehicle for 20,000 - 30,000 more. Offer me water, then forget to get me one. The police used to get in trouble for using these practices in interrogations."
"Received my second recall letter stating that parts are available and to contact my local gmc for repair. I called this place in September, they told me they can take me in in 2 weeks . October I called and they tell me they'll get me in again in 2 weeks when they get the part. November same thing. I called GMC Riverdale and was seen in 2 days and replaced the part in 10 min. Always go to Riverdale instead!"
"Extremely fast and efficient team! Everyone was friendly and helpful."
"Everytime. Every single time I bring my Acadia here, something entirely different magically ends up broken or miss calibrated. Additionally, sending out quotes that do not reflect the actual charges and tax is also a massive problem. The desk attendant was nice and helpful, but the mechanics are just like all others, crooks that hide behind the veil of plausible deniability. "We weren't working in that area, sorry it's not working now, do you want us to open up a new quote and look at it?"..... Crooks."
