"Reserved a rental tool online and paid the deposit yesterday…. Show up at my appointed time to get the tool today only to be told that their computers are down and they aren’t renting any tools… even though I had just got a reminder text a couple hours before… if I got a reminder text why didn’t I get a text or call telling me their rental computers were down?!?!?! I drove over 30 minutes from two towns over to rent this piece of equipment and had a specific job to do with it, which I didn’t get to do, thus lost the job and the $1500 I was going to make from that job. Absolutely unacceptable for me to show up and be turned away… I asked the clerk if he could rent me the tool anyways, write my info down on paper or whatever he needed to do so I could go do my job and he refused. Very upset about this."

"Was shopping for a sink. After visiting 3 Lowe's stores and not being able to find one that wasn't dented or scratched, I popped into Home Depot. Found a sink, only 1 in stock, in perfect condition. Also had 2 employees ask if I needed help. That doesn't happen at Lowe's"

"Went to pick up items, specifically one heavy item in the garden section but the register was closed. 1st person I asked said maybe open at 10. Did my other shopping and it was still closed at 10. Asked another person and was told maybe 11. Guess they wanted me to cart my heavy items all the way to the front registers then all the way to my car parked by the garden section. Sad thing is, there was other people who were looking for that service as well. Guess the manger could not take one of the 5 people standing around the front register waiting for customers and move them to the garden register. Took my business to Lowes and got great service. Will avoid this place and if I have to go to a Home Depot, I will drive the extra miles so I do not have to use this one."

"I like this store. The clerk was helpful helping me find a product. So for so good. Two thumbs up. I went early this morning and rented a chain saw. I took a small tree down. The two men behind the counter did a great job assisting me with that endeavor. Saturday I went to this same store and bought a wine cooler. Very tough to beat Home Depot's quality of assistance for the costumer. I went back today and rented another chain saw. Excellent service The men who run the rental section do a great job."

"A guy at customer service was helping me find out the details of the last transaction I did on a gift card and he just really went the extra mile, even when I said it was okay to quit. I appreciated it very much and have just been really impressed by the staff here."
