"The man who helped our family today at the police records desk was so kind and accommodating. He answered all our questions and went above and beyond to help us. He even waived the records request fee, maybe because we’re from out of town or because we’re trying to help a family member. Either way, we truly appreciate his kindness and empathy! The facility itself was clean and quiet, with lots of neat historical items displayed. The restrooms were also pristine and easily accessible. 10/10"
"This is mine and my wife's temporary home until we can find an apartment that will take us and our shelter plus care voucher. Our last apartment had a fire on the floor above us may 11 2020 making it uninhabitable due to aspestus being released from the fire."
"Currently displayed from our apt building. The upper floor above ours caught fire may 11, 2020 releaseing asbestos from smoke making the building unsafe to occupy. My wife and I have been sleeping on the street just in front of the PSB while we search for a new apartment who will accept our shelter plus care housing voucher. The SLPD have been understanding and habe not ticked us for camping here."
"Always a pleasure to visit. Staff is always friendly and it's cool to see the old fire truck and old motorcycles there used by Salt Lake City Police. New style of architecture that is very unique and located near other salt lake attractions."
"The fire department is truly committed to safety and well-being of everyone in Salt Lake City. I happened to get a free carbon monoxide detector from the fire department. When a power line fell in my backyard, they were out within minutes of my phone call to dispatch to make sure everything was safe."
