"This review is for Landmark Pools in Tulsa, OK. Our timeline of events: Feb 14 We met our salesman and his supervisor for the sales presentation. It was very professional and well done. We were told we would "swimming by Memorial Day" multiple times in the presentation. Feb 27 They visited our house and gave feedback on our property and how the install would go. We were pleased and wrote our $5000 deposit check on the spot. Feb 28-May 1 We had multiple communications with our salesman for drawings to submit to HOA. There were some delays and misunderstandings, but nothing that concerned us. May 2 Our salesman called and was excited to tell us that we were on the schedule for a June 12 start of construction. We understood there were delays in the industry, and were excited with the prospect of swimming by the end of June. May 3-June 1 This is when everything seemed to fall apart. We still didn't have a signed contract, so we asked multiple times when the contract would be available for signature. Our salesman's response everytime was "we're working on it." We even called the owner on May 26, and he said he would look into the delays with our contract. Finally, on June 1, we had a completed contract and I signed it that day. When signing the contract, our salesman indicated there was another delay, and we would likely be pushed to June 19. No problem. June 8 We inquired about the June 19 start date, and our salesman said he wasn't sure and had no ETA on a start date. He referred us to his supervisor for an update, who we reached out to several times, with no return communication from him. June 21 Our salesman called to let us the estimated shipment date of our pool was AUGUST 14. He said it would be several weeks after they received it before Landmark could start the 14-day install, so we were looking at a mid-September completion, which is effectively after the swimming season. I expressed my disappointment that this essentially delays our use of the pool by a year, and he offered a refund of our $5000 deposit. Later that day, we talked to the owner who claimed no knowledge of what was going on, and said he would immediately look into it when he returned to the office that afternoon. We received no callback, so I texted him the next day, we received no response until late that night after I posted a Google review, which he blamed on us. I have documentation of every text, email, and phone call with Landmark pools. Based on this timeline, I think any reasonable person would give this company a 1 star review. What's most troubling is that I still have no idea where the collapse happened, and I guess we'll never know. Tyler Gipson"
