Dr. Molly Montes 8822 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, UT 84088

"I was referred to Dr. Montes so I was really hopeful but I am disappointed. At the checkup I felt that she was talking condescendingly to me but I decided to continue with her because I might have been taking it too personally. But then my 18 month old got hand foot and mouth and he developed very painful mouth sores that prevented him from eating. We had been through this before when he was 2 months old and he was hospitalized for 3 days and put on a feeding tube because he couldn't swallow because of the pain. He progressed enough that primary's sent us home with magic mouthwash. They advised us to rub it around his mouth before feedings as it would numb his mouth and help him eat. It worked well and really helped as he healed. So fast forward to today I am familiar with this virus and I call Dr. Montes and ask for a magic mouthwash prescription. She refuses to fill it and says it's not suitable for someone as young as my son. Who, again, is currently 16 months older than the last time it was prescribed to him. She told me to just give Tylenol like I had never thought of that. So I went to the pharmacy and asked about that and they said he was not too young for magic mouthwash and helped me buy some medicines to make sort of a homemade magic mouthwash. I feel that she didn't like that I was asking her to do something instead of asking her what I should do and so she would not honor my request. The pharmacist even said I should switch doctors. Please do better at helping children in pain instead of prioritizing your ego."

"Dr Montes is great. The less than stellar review is directed at billing. Because of her laziness and borderline incompetence we feel the need to move on."

We called the on call Dr (and she just happened to be on call that weekend) about a possible food allergy and she called right back, text me info on dosages for medicine and sent a referral out for an allergist. Over a weekend. During checkups she is super great, open to all types of parenting and very non-judemental. She doesn't make you feel rushed."

She will take the time to talk to you and address any questions or concerns you have. The practice upgraded to a newer and nicer office my kids love it there. And she has great MEdical assistance who we love too."
