"The 7 day Grand Canyon trip was amazing! Our guides, Wylie, Mark, McKey and Bill were so great. They were so knowledgeable about the river and their cooking skills were on point! The canyon was so beautiful and what a way to see it.Havasu Creek was so incredible. Definitely worth the hike. Book the 7 day because you get more hiking/water falls. A couple of things that I wish I had brought are a camp Yeti type coffee cup. Could have used that for cocktails at night as well as coffee in the am. Another thing, make sure your headlamp has a red light on it. We went the second week in Sept. and did not need a fleece or the water socks. Temps were warm. Went to sleep on top of sleeping bag and crawled in there in the middle of the night some nights, but mostly warm enough to sleep without it. Bring more alcohol than you think. Most peeps ran out. That time of year, beer is not cold( cool, since it is cooled by the river) They had ice every night for our cocktails. One of our favorite trips ever. One of the highlights was being off the grid for a whole week. Definitely get it booked!"

"My wife and I did the 3 day rafting trip with 7 other friends and family. Everyone had an amazing time and could not have been happier with the experience on every level. On day one we were picked up at the "host" hotel in Vegas and driven to Boulder City where we boarded a prop plane and were flown over the Hoover Dam to the Bar 10 Ranch. From there we were helicoptered into the Canyon to meet our guides and the rest of the group on the river. Our group of 9 was part of a 28 person, two raft group, guided by Ben, Paco, Hank and Daniel. Over the next 3 days we experienced multiple grade rapids, a hike to a waterfall, jumping from a 35' rock into the Colorado River, camping under the stars and 3 meals each day prepared expertly by our guides. I could go on and on about this trip, but to keep it simple; Western River Expeditions provided an amazing experience from start to finish, provided us with excellent food, expert guides and an adventure of a lifetime! We are definitely considering a longer trip in the future and wouldn't do it with any other company!! In our opinion they are the only company you should consider!!"

"You couldn't ask for a better Grand Canyon Rafting expedition experience than Western River Expeditions! The white water rafting was amazing on the safest raft (J-rig) that floats this stretch of the river. The Grand Canyon experience will fill your soul with appreciation and fulfillment. The food was gourmet especially for food cooked at the side of a river! The guides were probably one of the best parts of the trip with their white water experience, chef skills, and knowledge of the canyon and geology. The only way to improve on it is to go again!"

The crew was amazing. Not only do they get you down the river safely, but they give you geology lessons, history lessons, cook tremendous meals, and, on occasion, sing for you. "This trip far exceeded my expectations! The river was incredible, the views spectacular, and the company made it amazing. Our guides were knowledgeable and seemed to genuinely enjoy their time on the river and with us. We got to know them well over the course of the trip. The boat was the best on the river. I don't think I'd go through those rapids on anything else. The food was amazing and the bathroom situation couldn't have been better under the circumstances. I would recommend this trip to anyone wanting to ride the river!"
