"Dr. Hansen did a great job on my foot. It was quite a lengthy surgery. He answered all questions from the minute I walked in the door. Very personable. What ruined it was his billing clerk (Mandy) When she explained how everything would be billed as a full package, even going into 2023. I had the surgery in December of 2022. I received a bill for approximately $700 which was quite a surprise to me. Dr. Hansen kindly said he would talk to her about explaining billing and what to expect in detail. Dr. Hanson was kind enough to write it off. In March of 2023 I received another bill for $160 so I called Mandy and she said “Christine, haven’t we done enough for you!? You already cost us $700 that we had to eat”! We are done paying for your services! This is your problem because you didn’t listen I told her you said it was covered 100% even if it went into 2023 and she said, well we can’t cover your medical expenses for the rest of your life, what do you expect?! I said I was not told that I would be billed for doctors visits in 2023, she said she had mentioned it which she did not so I said I will not be back and I have not been back since then. My foot is still not healed and I have not been back to see Dr. Hanson. therefore, they received all their money from the insurance and my foot is still swollen, and not healed all due to Mandy yelling at me over the phone and telling me I cost them too much money. Unprofessional and uncalled for!!! Christine King I’m going to see another podiatrist, who hopefully can help me with my foot I can’t believe Dr. Hanson has someone like that working in his billing department and allows them to talk to his patients that way"

Also, I was expected to be cleared to start running again in 6 months and I was cleared at 3 months! As a nurse, I tend to be very selective with my doctors. I had cared for several of Dr. Larsen’s patients, and it was with no question that I would trust him to do my surgery.
