"I was suppose to have a cardiac MRI today. I received a phone call 3 hours before I was suppose to show up saying my appointment was canceled because the Cardoligist read the x-ray last night and decided I wouldn't have a good reading. When I set the appointment up I had to be vetted to see if I could have the scan. They told me that it was a intense vetting because of how intense and how deep the scan goes. They have had the x-ray for two months why did the Doctor read the x-ray just the night before. And canceled three before my appointment, but yet if I wouldn't have showed for the appointment I would have been charged a fee"

"My father came in because he was having trouble breathing, and when I visited him, his pupils were dilated. He seemed a little hazy but still aware. When I talked to the nurse about it, she conducted a test, and he answered a few questions correctly, but not all of them. Despite my insistence, my past experience in the medical field, and just knowing my father, she refused to listen to me about getting a brain scan for him, even though the signs were obvious. Instead, they focused on other areas, including keeping him on blood thinners, and reassured me that he'd be fine. They were actually trying to release him that day, if you can believe it. They finally decided to do a brain scan the next day when he showed signs and was almost unconscious and non-coherent. They quickly took him off the blood thinner. He died of a brain bleed the following morning. Thank you, Intermountain. I used to think so highly of intermountain, but recently it’s gone downhill. I strongly suggest not going to this hospital. I forgot to mention, don’t waste your time contacted the patient experience. They really don’t do anything and it’s just a waste of time."

"My son was on the ER of Intermountain Medical Center at 54 State St in Murray on Monday for abdominal pain. He was promptly taken to a room. He stayed there from 10am to 1:30am. No doctor came to see him, EVER, we only talked to nurses. He was not provided with a blanket while waiting for a CT scan wearing a hospital gown and was using his jacket on his legs until I asked for a blanket and socks for his feet, which were very cold. When I asked for another pillow to support his arm with the IV they told me they were short on pillows!!!! After 30 minutes they brought one. Again, we never talked to a doctor. Fortunately it was nothing too serious, but I would not go back to this particular hospital. I've been to Ers before and NEVER experienced such atrocious environment. By the way, my son does have insurance."

"I arrived to the ER after being diagnosed with a stroke on 12/24/23. My blood pressure was already at a very dangerous state upon arrival causing my right eye to have changes in color and was experiencing blurred vision. I couldn’t keep any of my medicine down due to vomiting profusely. I signed an AMA after being told they wanted to run all the same tests I had previously had a week earlier. After reading the medical notes they without a doubt lied. Said they discussed leaving could lead to death(never was spoken about) last thing Dr Drury said to me verbatim was “it’s going to be a long day for you” the neurologist checked my eyes and was worried but said he wanted me to go see an eye doctor. I will give Dr Kim the compliment of when I asked if I am allowed to leave he did inform me that they can expedite tests faster through the ER but once again was not informed of the seriousness. I would have never left if they told me they were close to admitting me and that my blood pressure was 212/133. No appropriate action was taken. No thorough explanation of the danger I was in. When the nurse pulled out my IV she then said “the exits to your right” the medical system failed to communicate properly and then treated me as though I was disposable. It’s an assembly line medical field. Instead of properly doing their job they just document lies in order to cover themselves."
