"I had an MRI here today and had an extremely positive experience. When I called to schedule the appointment they asked if I was claustrophobic. I told them that I had an MRI as a child and it was a traumatic experience. When I arrived the front desk person was friendly and promptly checked me in. The tech came to get me right on time and discussed the options for a more comfortable experience given my prior MRI experience. She was patient and made sure I was calm and comfortable. I was in and out in about 30 minutes. I would 100% recommend this imaging center."
"My initial greeting by the young woman at the desk was cold and disinterested. She made eye contact, let me walk past her, and then rather curtly, as if asking “…didn’t you see me looking at you,” asked if I needed assistance. Yes, I just walked in your clinic waiting room. I need assistance. It was a rough start and bad first impression. Note: either pay your reception people enough to make them happy to have their jobs, or manage them out. Everyone else at the clinic was pleasant and helpful. I guess it just goes to show how important first impressions are."
"I’m not a typical reviewer of a med facility - especially not with such a low rating. I read all the reviews and can see they have great ratings, however my experience was terrible. - the tech who did my MRI was callous - I tried telling her she’d have better luck with the IV in my right arm and she said ‘your left arm is more convenient for me’, eventually she had to move to my right arm after TWO failed attempts on my left arm. At one point I flinched because she stuck me on the left side and it was painful - she said: ‘you’re fine it’s just a tendon, no big deal’. - Then she proceeded to blame ME for missing the vein on my left arm twice! She said, ‘you can’t move!’, that’s why I missed. Well, lady, I’ve had hundreds of IV’s in my day and the experience with you was the absolute WORST. - she gave me earplugs. I asked if there were headphones (also not my first MRI, I’ve had many), and she said NO. I put the earplugs in. - she talked in a soft voice while working through the IV, and I had the earplugs in as that was the first thing she gave me… she talked so quiet I had a hard time hearing her because of the earplugs, so she proceeded to say ‘are you DEAF? Hard of hearing? I never have to talk this loud with other patients.’ No, I’m not hard of hearing in the least, but I lied and said, ‘yes, I’m hard of hearing’, because at that point I was absolutely embarrassed and the situation was just so uncomfortable for me. - the MRI machine was old and dingy, I’ve not been on one that seemed that old in a very long time. The ceiling in the room I was in had the ceiling tiles that were stained from water spots and the whole room just made me feel gross. - the room was an absolute ice box. I am always cold, but this was next level freezing, my hands and arms were frozen and so uncomfortable and stiff as they had to be above my head the entire time. Both of my shoulders still hurt today from being in this position for so long. This was the worst MRI experience I’ve ever had, and the bedside manner of the MRI lady was just awful. I could’ve dealt with the dingy old mri and the gross ceiling had it not been for the rudeness of the tech. What a disappointing, stressful appointment."
"From the start things went good, but at the end I waited just for a receptionist to come back up front so I could get my images on a disc. She was in the back talking for over 10 minutes. I could see her talking from the front where I was waiting. Maybe you need a bell so she can be reminded to be in the front. When she came back she was nice and printed up my disc. All the staff are kind and I didnt feel rushed. Each staff greeted me pleasantly. I was getting an MRI done."
"I had 2 procedures done. Everyone was really nice and pleasant to deal with. They were very accommodating as I am on crutches. Procedures were all dealt with very professionally. They made the whole process easy. I would definitely recommend mountain medical imaging."
