"**Update at the end** If I could mark zero stars, I would. The only good thing about this place is the front desk staff, they were incredibly friendly and helpful. Dr. McIntyre was rude and condescending. As I was trying to explain how my knee pain and instability felt, he continued to try and talk louder over the top of me. He acted as though I had zero knowledge of my own body and pain. When speaking about my pain, I was simply brushed off and prescribed a topical pain relief. When I did research, I found that I am allergic to the medication and I shouldn't take it. The pharmacy caught the issue as well. When I brought up this concern, he very condescendingly told me that he knew exactly what he prescribed, and that the pharmacy was wrong. He then spoke to me as though I was a child and had no idea what I was talking about. Dr. McIntyre sent me for imaging, both and Xray and an MRI. When those results came in, he said the xray showed nothing and the MRI only showed inflammation. Both of which are untrue once I myself read the Imaging report from the radiologist. There is a significant abnormality in my patellar tilt and the imaging shows that it has shifted almost a quarter of an inch. This abnormality is likely causing my pain, instability, and discomfort. Unless you want a doctor that is condescending, has little knowledge of medications, and disregards both your own concerns and what is on the radiologist reports, I HIGHLY recommend finding a different doctor and not wasting your time and money with James S. McIntyre. ***Update!: After seeing a doctor that actually cared and paid attention, it was decided that I needed an MPFL Reconstruction to fix the instability and dislocations. 4 months post-op I'm back to living a life without pain and instability. Do yourself a favor and see a different doctor***"
