"How many letters, a "final letter" and even a CERTIFIED one needs to be sent to me to remind me to schedule my mammogram. Intermountain health really? It's borderline harassment and needs to stop. Who do I contact for this? I just get the run around every time I've called. I lost faith in the healthcare system a very long time ago. It's about money not care. I'll be going elsewhere."
"Went in with my fiancé to support him during his mammogram and ultrasound. I was told to stay out in the waiting room. I am a breast cancer survivor and had all my testing done at IHC before I was given my diagnosis. I was allowed to have someone there with me for support in my ultrasound and outside of the mammogram room. If this is a new rule, it should be told over the phone when making the appointment. I took work off for nothing."
"the 2 stars is for the incessant text reminders to fill out your intake form (that are both constant yet weirdly insufficient) NOT for the care or attentiveness of the people there. The people are all extremely wonderful, patient, and kind. Putting this here because you don't find out until you're standing in front of the check in desk: IF YOU'VE HAD A COVID VACCINE, YOU'LL HAVE TO RESCHEDULE UNTIL IT'S BEEN A MONTH SINCE THE SHOT. This is what I wrote on their "contact us/tell us about your experience" form (which I'm guessing goes no where, but if this can save someone the 1.5 wasted from my day, my job is done): Please include a warning (in the myriad texts reminding us to check in perhaps) a notice that if we've had a Covid vaccine within the past month, that we'll need to reschedule the mammogram. I'll be fine, but there are many other people who have to take a half day off work to come here, only to find that we have to reschedule. Some person out there isn't going to be able to come twice (once to find out, once when they reschedule) and they'll understandably choose to work instead of come to do a mammogram. The wasted time and wasted money is already not great, but having to sidestep a potential cancer diagnosis would... definitely not be great. The incessant texts to fill out the intake forms makes things easier on the admins--I get that part, but how about including a notice or warning in that that makes things easier for your patients? Please include that somewhere well in advance of making people show up for no reason. Thank you for listening and for your empathy for the patient experience."
"I had a good experience here at the IMC Breast Center. My appointment started on time and everyone I worked with was friendly and professional. I felt comfortable with the staff and felt it was an efficient process, although a bit like an assembly line. It was a bit harder to find the building than I had anticipated, even with the signs around the hospital campus. Basically, you'll need to enter on the State Street entrance and head as far Northeast as possible, in building 8."
"I have had mammograms here for the last four years. Each time the techs have been friendly and efficient. They are efficient and I get in and out quickly. There was a time a few years ago when the front desk people were less than friendly but this last time they kind and warm. Additionally the equipment is up to date and the techs tell me what they are doing the entire time. I will continue to visit this facility."
