"An ER doctor sent a referral for me to the see the neurologist here at Granger. His office CALLED ME yesterday. We went through the whole process of setting it up: name, DOB, date and time for appointment.... Then they argued with me about how they cannot set an appointment with me because the ER doctor didn't write 'headaches" in the referral. Number one: YOU called ME. Number two: I have no control over what the doctor writes on his referral. Number three: I'm telling you now, why I asked for the referral in the first place. If there's a problem with the wording in the referral, why call the patient and argue with THE PATIENT. Call the referring doctor BEFORE you call the patient to argue with them."
