"Went in before nine and heard the doors lock as I was walking up the stairs. I called the office and asked if I could be seen as I have had a fever. I was told that because the cash drawer had already been cashed out I couldn’t be seen. If I was too late I would have appreciated being told I was too late for the doctor to accept any more patients. It seems money is more important than taking care of people who are ill."
"I went here for strep throat and had a great experience with the medical staff. The reason for the one star is their awful billing department/customer service. I had my appointment and was sent a link for the online portal afterwards. Filled out my information and couldn’t get it to work, I called the customer service and they said it wasn’t working at the moment. Tried to setup my account a bit later and it worked and showed a balance of zero. Fantastic! I moved away and never heard from the clinic. They have my email and phone number that they had sent the online portal link to. Didn’t hear from them till a collections company called me recently (about 8 months later) to tell me I had a large bill and an equally large late fee attached. I attempted to negotiate the late fee and they went down by half, though since they had other means to contact me other than my old address and an online portal that I checked more than once. (I called last week and they said they don’t even use the online portal which is hilarious since they sent me the link) I don’t believe I was responsible for any late fee. I ended up paying the late fee just to be done with the situation and so it wouldn’t hurt my credit. But I wish someone had reached out by phone or email so I could’ve avoided the late fee. They seem to be behind other clinics in terms of technology having no online option to pay or even text or email updates."
"Rude receptionist. Somehow I hurt her snowflake sensitivities when I had to ask/say “then I’ll skip the insurance and pay cash.” That was after she announced “if you don’t have an actual Medicare card we can’t treat you.” Can’t or won’t? Just a blank “I don’t give a s___ stare. No offer such as “we can treat you if you are willing to pay cash.“ Phase 2. Medical assistant (not nurse) who checked blood pressure. Very nice person. Polite and caring. Phase 3. Physician’s assistant comes in to troubleshoot. She is very nice. As competent as a MD? Who knows? I don’t. I know I am very old-fashioned. I like a doctor. However, as I said, she was very nice and had good bedside manner even though I’m not “in the sick bed” yet. Have we reached the point where you only get a doctor if surgery is required? A lot of things seem to have changed in the last few years. So that’s my Google review? I sent it while I was still waiting for some kind of lab results. Everyone except the receptionist was very nice. It cost me about $160 out of pocket. OK. But this facility only gets a one star rating from me because the receptionist got things off to such a bad start. But if you had the patience to read this, to the end, then you are now reading that I probably had a four star experience."
"I’ve gone to this urgent care more than I go see my primary doctor for years. It’s sad to see so much change I’ve always loved the education and care I get there from the staff I usually am seen pretty quick and in and out. Never before have I felt forgotten or rushed. However it’s changed a lot recently I don’t know if it’s a change in staff but there’s a noticeable difference in the care Iv been getting. My past 3 visits have really just been concerning. I went in concerning a on going issue That has been poorly taken care of It’s by the book and nothing else is looked into or cared about. In the past they would of taken test just to be sure nothing was missed And educated me on what they have done what could be possible reasons They went the whole mile Recently seeing them they convinced me no need for a test and either give me some prescription or tell me that all should be fine. They don’t provide no further information or education or resources for where else I could go for more direct help. Iv waited longer then ever to just be forgotten about when I’m finally seen. It’s slowly gotten worse in the care thats provide I also understand that Tooele is a growing community but they are very disorganized with how they’ve been handling visits and providing care It would be nice to see the team work together and find resolutions to how you guys can provide care that isn’t just by the book and rushed. It would be nice to feel my concerns were cared about as if it was their own family. Look into the results more & provide more education with the care your providing Go the extra mile because it really made the difference"
"I’ve had to go here twice for my son when his pediatrician was closed or couldn’t fit him in. They were fantastic with my son. They were very clear with care instructions. They did thorough exams each time. Both doctors had excellent bedside manner and that helped my son. It has a long wait time because they are helping so many people so bring a book or headphones, and any needed medication. (One time, we waited close to two hours. I seriously regretted not bringing more children’s Tylenol/ibuprofen because his fever was over 104 and he was getting close to being able to get another dose.)"
