"Bought a dachshund from them for $1600. They were selling various breeds at the time but I did not think anything of it. I was told by one of the family members that “they stood by their dogs” so I took their word for it after contemplating it several times. My puppy ended up getting extremely sick multiple times within the first few weeks, however, after getting treatment from his vet and from an emergency vet on different occasions, he was finally able to get better. Turns out he was not 8 weeks old when they sold him to me. The vet told me he was about 3 weeks, maybe 4 when I bought him. It seems like they MIGHT be reliable if you buy a lab from them, but I HIGHLY recommend NOT buying any other breeds from them. They sold him to me around the time they were trying to get their business up and running, so they were probably trying to get some extra money to get that going. I’m thankful my dog is okay, but it is only because I was able to get the right treatment for him. Be careful and trust your gut if you want to purchase from these people!"

"We purchased a Silkie Terrier(born 9/17) and a Snorkie(born August) on 12/4 at the Calera, Ok site. Both have had worms in their stools since day 1 at home. The silkie said it was wormed on vaccination card. Snorkie wasnt. The silkie started throwing up on 12/6 with white mucous throw up and and thick, horrible smelling mucous stringy diarrhea. We had already scheduled them for well-checks on 12/7. The vet said they contracted this from the kennel. It takes 1-2 weeks incubation period for parvo. The vet also said the grade vaccination used was cheap bulk. It shouldn’t be used! The silkie is positive for parvo and is currently admitted at the veterinary hospital. The snorkie is at home with meds. We also have to treat our senior dog now she’s been exposed. We reached out to the owners via phone and they have said nothing. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! They take zero Accountability and ZERO PRIDE of their business OR LOVE OF ANIMALS!! They need to be shut down! Truly sad individuals!"

"We came to see Anna and Peggy to get a chocolate female lab. We recently had to put our two chocolate labs down a month apart after 13+ great years. They welcomed us in their home, and on the back porch we met the most awesome male black lab while playing with the litter. We fell in love right away with him and knew he was going home with us. This little guy is so healthy and has the best demeanor I've seen in a puppy ever! I can't say enough about their love of the bread and how well they take care of their dogs! They price them fairly,, and I recommend you make the drive and go see them if you are wanting a great quality well taken care of puppie to join your family. Thank you Double Bar P for what you do!"
