"Dr. Heather Martin is amazing. She oversaw and delivered both of my pregnancies. She knows when to refer to maternal fetal medicine and kept up with the labs that they wanted drawn. When high risk was going to induce me at 39 weeks during the first pregnancy, she was able to strip my membranes and get things going naturally on their own. Also, she got the hospital to admit me when they were otherwise going to send me home when I was stalled at 4cm. After my first delivery when I had a 2nd degree tear, she made sure that I had real pain medicine during my stay and to have at home after discharge which made me way more comfortable. She got to the delivery room quickly both times that I was in labor. She is really sweet and a pleasure to be around and very encouraging and optimistic. Her bedside manner is amazing and she remembers her patients and personal details about them. She’s just a really great woman. Giving birth was actually a wonderful experience and I’d do it 100 more times with her lol."
"Dr. Martín was great. Although her appointments were very swift and didn’t leave much room for developing a relationship. I understand, she’s a busy woman. I would’ve given her four stars, but unfortunately her office staff are less than welcoming. I just called to schedule an appointment with Kimber (I believe is her name), and after asking her a clarifying question, she hung up on me (it was not an accident because I heard the receiver slam down). This office seems overwhelmed with patients and cannot provide the quality care, kindness, and respect each woman deserves. I’ll be finding a new doctor."
"She is an amazing person, I first met her when I became pregnant in 2017. But soon found out the pregnancy was not viable. My body was not taking care of things naturally and I ended up having to have a D&C. She was amazing, I was so scared but before I went under she held my hand and just talked to me. She told me that this was not going to be the end of my story. She kept close tabs on me and 4 months later I was pregnant again. 9 months after that she helped me give birth to my beautiful baby girl! I recently went back and found out this third pregnancy was not viable. I was devastated but she sat with me and reassured me that I would carry another baby! This story is a ling way to say that she is the only doctor I would trust with my babies!"
"Dr. Martin (summers) is amazing! Im in the homestretch with my third baby and I have used her for each one. She has the kindest eyes and sweetest smile that just amplify her character. She has never been anything but supportive even in the moment I declined the epidural registration card with my first baby.......(we made it, twice now....going for three =) ) She does her own ultrasounds and looks upon their sweet profiles like they're her own. She truly wants to deliver every baby and goes above and beyond to try and be there to do just that. I love her and highly recommend her. The contemporary women's specialist office in general is full of wonderful staff."
"I went to Dr. Martin for my first pregnancy. She told me at 34 weeks I would need a cesarean because my baby was measuring “big”. My baby weighed 7 pounds! She ended up inducing me a little past 40 weeks, before I was even dilated. Induction failed and she insisted after 60 hours that I should have a cesarean. During the c section she never said a word to me but talked to assisting doctor about Starbucks drinks and so forth. She is nice, but she has her own agenda. Afterwards, I asked her if I could have a vaginal birth for my next pregnancy, and she replied “with your luck your uterus will rupture”. I found a new provider, who is wonderful. Dr Martin has a very high cesarean rate! I would never recommend her to a friend."
