"Stopped by for beers and couples of sushi rolls and it was very disappointing, it used to be better here. Both rolls tasted not fresh, rice was hard and had no seasoning to it. Service was prompt."

"Yellowfinn is a Sugar House gem serving exquisite Japanese food in an environment that exudes major neighborhood pub energy. I don't recall ever feeling more at home or authentically welcomed to a place on my first visit. The menu is about 80% gluten free, so it makes it easy for diners with those issues. I recommend the hamachi nigiri, Utah roll and tempura banana for dessert. The creamesicle saketini is perfect. This is a place you need to try."

"I had the Bento box. The teriyaki chicken and salad were good. The tempura vegetables were also good but I wish they would have come with a dipping sauce that was not sweet. The crab in the California rolls tasted like artificial Krab. The person I was with got the Udon noodles and tempura shrimp and vegetables. She liked everything she had and remarked that the broth that came with the noodles was delicious. We both had large glasses of a light tasting draft beer. I don’t remember what kind it was (I don’t think it was on the on-line menu) but it was really good. We sat outside and could hear the nearby creek running. We had a female server that took excellent care of us."
