"[Not from here, never heard of this place, we've been 3 times] The food was always lukewarm. Maaad expensive for the quality. The icecream tastes like dollartree chocolate[fake, overly sweet and chemical tatsting] the burgers were depressing. Shrimp was decent. The workers are very nice though, love them."
"The bathrooms were absolutely filthy. The toilet had clearly not been cleaned in a long time (poop all over), the floor around the urinal was disgusting, the baseboards looked as though they had black mold on them, there was no soap, and no paper towels. I wouldn't be surprised if someone told me it had been weeks since anyone had cleaned it. Furthermore, my wife said that the women's bathroom was gross too and noted that the baby changing table had poop on it. Really kills the appetite. Probably won't go back."
"This was a bit disappointing. I remember this place from my childhood, so there's that sentimental side of me that is glad this little restaurant is still thriving. But it's pricey and the fish sandwich lacked in all but the grease-factor. I got the tiniest dollop of sauce on the sandwich, the lettuce was a little limp, and the crispy breading of the fried cod was bland. Where's the seasoning? We need it! A sandwich over $12 should come with seasoning, at the least. The cod was dry, too. My mom had a fish basket and refused to eat it because the breading was so thick that the fry didn't cook all the way. There was something of a gummy, uncooked layer of batter between a greasy, crispy, unseasoned breading shell and the dry, unseasoned cod. The fries lacked salt, too. I've just moved here from the southeastern US, so maybe I need to lower my expectations and stop comparing the fried fish in Utah with what they serve in coastal South Carolina. But, c'mon. Seasoning shouldn't be a cultural exclusion here in the Salt Lake valley. It's not like we don't have access to salt. I can recommend the soft serve, though! At the drive thru, they offer a complimentary mini ice cream. Vanilla, chocolate or twist. That's really nice!"
