"This used to be my favorite place for burgers and fries. However, during our last visit the fries were subpar and our burger order was wrong. Two of the four burgers were missing toppings, and when we brought it to the staffs attention, they reacted poorly. We had not eaten any of the food at that time, they would only fix one. The other was missing onions. The solution would have been easy, provide a side of onions for us to add ourselves. In addition, a crewmember kept sweeping around us and kicking chairs into place. This was at 7:30 PM. We will not be returning."
"I do not understand the hype that this place gets at all. Out of the few times I have been here, it has gotten worse every time. Why are their burgers so greasy? I do not know how they cook them but they just taste like peanut oil. It also feels like they steam the burgers in the tinfoil after wrapping them up. Or it could just be all the grease from the meat and other ingredients making the buns soggy. Not only that but paying $11 for a bacon cheeseburger makes no sense to me. Also, their fries are NASTY. For a medium size they probably fry 3 entire potatoes and the sodium content is INSANE. This also costs $6 which at any other fast food restaurant would get you a sandwich and sometimes a whole meal. They put some in the cups, and then add a disgusting amount on top of that to the point that the bag is soaked with grease. Also, their shakes are disgusting. It is awful that they would ever add bacon but considering the rest of their menu, I guess it makes sense. They are so watery but also overly sweet. Not only that but $5.49 for this? The employees here are also so rude so not even that is a saving grace. Also, waiting 30 minutes for this is not worth it. I would not recommend going here. If you are wanting a burger; try Tonyburgers, McDonald's, Wendy's, Burger King, even Carl's Jr., all are better and cheaper than this place."
"I think five guys had gone downhill. But I don't think that's uncommon for new places. It's hard to keep up the hype and quality as at first. I didn't get what I asked for on my order. The burger patty is so thin, you can hardly tell you've got burger between the bun. The fries were great as usual. The music was veeeerrry loud. It's hard to carry on a conversation when you can't hear your friend. I don't think I'll be back."
"Update. We went back today and we’re kind of surprised at how unsatisfied we were. One of the first customers in and the tables were sticky. They don’t have the pump fry sauce anymore and told us that they were out of ketchup. Which is odd. The food was just ok. I don’t know that we’ll be back anytime soon. Review is based mostly on takeout. The menu is pretty basic which means they have a lot of time to perfect their burgers and we think they are pretty great. You pick the size and toppings which gives you control over the order. The options are endless if you switch things up. They always give more than enough fries. A small fry was plenty for our family of 3. Try the Cajun fries if you like a little spice. I will say that we wish they had pickled jalapeños as well as fresh. While we like fresh, the pickled work better for burgers IMO. Also recommend you try their bbq sauce. So good."
"Let’s break it down: 3-stars for the burger, 4-stars for the fries and 5-stars for the cleanliness. It was not a $9+ hamburger. Two patties is great but no flavor to the burger and even with grilled onions and mushrooms it was extremely bland. Bun was so thin it became soggy very quickly from the burger. Employees were nice but I was amazed that 7 people were on the clock for how slow it was. One photo of them just standing around and a bit entertaining to hear their back and forth conversation about who was on dishes and fries. Not oozing productivity. Love how clean it was and fries were great. I wouldn’t agree with their signage that it is the “best burger” or “best bargain”. I know it’s a tough environment right now with material and labor costs but I’d have a chat with the team about productivity."
