"My family went in after the wait was too long at another restaurant. We chose this place for the high reviews. Decor could use some updating, had a family owned type atmosphere. We got the burritos and the quesadillas. Since the burritos were about 11$ I expected similar to Betos or a filibertos. They did not disappoint. The else burritos were gigantic. Easily 2 of the ones from other places. I could only finish half (and I am eating for two) I had a few bites from my daughter's chicken quesadilla and the homemade tortillas are to die for. Freshest Mexican food I have found since moving here from Phoenix, AZ."
"After seeing a 4.8 review, I was excited to try this place...... however, I was greatly disappointed by my experience. The food tasted like it was either cooked in old oil or had been sitting in a warmer all day. The meat was chewy, and the rice was mushy. We ordered 2 dishes, sopes, quesadilla, and a burrito. Pros- super friendly staff and very generous food portion size. Cons- quality of food and flavor was missing."
"Stopped here after a golf outing on a weeknight. Ordered a smothered burrito which includes meat of choice, pinto beans, Spanish rice. A salsa bar provides garnish options. The burrito was good, quite large. But $14 is steep, as are most things on the menu. With a drink, figure $20 per person. Having eaten Mexican food all over the USA and in Mexico, it's just okay American-ized Mexican food; I will not return."
"I’d heard great things about this place, and I finally made it in to try. Right after you order, they tell you all of the food will come out together. I ordered chips and salsa so this seemed odd, but I figured they’d done this a time-or-two, so I trusted what they said and took a seat. After a moment I realized there are salsas you can get on your own, so I loaded up. About that time, my freshly-fried chips were at the table, and I was ready to start enjoying!! The food was delicious, and the sauces added a great way to spice it all up to my liking. I’m glad I was able to finally try this out, because now I have a new go-to when those Mexican cravings kick in, like they so frequently do. It should also be noted, they have the best horchata I’ve had anywhere. I’m not sure what they do differently, but oh my, it’s delicious."
"The food was absolutely delicious. We loved everything. The house-made tortilla chips were among the best I have ever had. They make the guacamole fresh, right there in house. Nailed it. Spot on. It was mouthwatering. 5.0 rating. The staff were delightful."
