"My FAVORITE local restaurant for authentic Mexican cuisine! My 12 year old son does not like Mexican food, so it is nice they have other options. My son ordered a “Build Your own burger” and he said it was delicious. I ordered fajitas, but I have also had their Mole, burritos, enchiladas, etc and it is all AMAZING! The atmosphere is also authentic and enjoyable and the staff is helpful, fast, and friendly!"

"We were looking for restaurants in walking distance from the Salt Center and found Blue Iguana. A cute entrance and inviting decor met us. There isn't fresh fish here. I ordered the Shrimp Fajiatas anyway since they looked good in the online pictures. Our appetizers were stuffed jalapeños wrapped in bacon and queso. We sent the queso back because it was cold, and the jalapeños were very good. Overall we were happy with the food and it wasn't heavy or greasy, definite plus. If your looking for an above average Mexican dinner this is the place."

"Honestly, I know Red Iguana gets the hype for having the best Mexican food in Utah, but I actually prefer the food and atmosphere at the Blue Iguana. It's less crowded, the menu is diverse, the food is delicious, and the service is excellent."

"We found this tucked in the basement of a building and the reviews look pretty good so we had dinner. It was so good a week later we returned. It is the most authentic Mexican food I’ve had in a long time, and quite frankly, some of the best that I have ever had. The salsa was thick and not watery as is the case so often. Slightly spicy. Everyone agreed that the food had lots of flavor (partially responsible is the freshly made tortillas, not from a factory), and the fresh mix of meat and veggies. The meats must be marinated as I thought they had lots of flavor. The portions were quite large. Service was very good too. Next time I visit this area I plan to return to this restaurant. Only issue is parking can be a slight challenge although there is a garage next door and I think the first 90 minutes is free, but it is not opened on Sunday. Street parking is available though."
