"I knew Whiteside got a big revamp but hadn't been to check it out until today. Holy wow!! This might be my new favorite park to bring my toddler! The Zoo and Gathering Place have amazing play structures but my toddler is at that age where he's READY to play and wants to try everything out which gets daunting around play areas for bigger kids.. he just gets angry I won't let him on the giant stuff and becomes more time spent fighting off a tantrum than playing - but at Whiteside we had the BEST time and he was able to use a lot of the structures with just a handful of things still too big that I have to steer him away from to avoid falling but he's going to LOVE them as he gets bigger and stronger. Okay pardon my dramatic enthusiasm as the stay at home parent of a toddler this has just been the most exciting find during a week of great weather!"

"Nice park with water pad, event center, waking path. There is a spot with simple workout stations. There is a lighted tennis court, outdoor covered picnic area and grill. There are large field areas for soccer. They are in the process of upgrading a play area."
