"We tried a new spot close to where we recently moved. Carne Asada and enchiladas were our choices. No complaints and service was great. We will be back."
"If you like authentic Central American food (not Mexican) then you will be very pleased to dine at El Nopal. They serve many types of pupilas and both types of Tamales win corn husk or banana leaf! Sweet plantains and my favorite today was the Caldo de Gallina, which is only served on Friday and Saturday—wow! The street tacos are legit and the service is friendly and efficient—give them a try!! Te amo El Nopal!! @kimyarla"
"The place was clean, the people were very friendly and attentive. Their bean burrito was good, I liked their chips even though they tasted like they were mixed in with stale chips. Their salsa was very watery, and not much taste, so I asked for something spicier and wow, it wasn't, but they charged me for a tiny amount to try!"
"Fresh made food that wasn't covered or soaked in grease. It lacked any real spices, but it still had an excellent taste and was made very well. Definitely a hidden gem that I kept passing by judging the exterior!"
"At first sight from the outside of the building one might just keep driving due to its appearance. A bit run down and decor must have been a second thought. But if you drive right by you would be missing out on a nice clean simple Latin/Mexican cuisine experience. We received a generous portion of homemade fresh and warm chips with some delicious salsa. I'd recommend away from the nachos if you not care for what tasted and looked like Velveeta, because they were covered in it making them almost impossible to eat. Yuck! Couldn't taste the meat or other toppings. Street tacos were wonderful and so was the enchiladas. Loved the drink options as well. But let's talk about the fast and prompt service. This young woman was awesome. She was sweet and kind and we hardly turned our heads before our food was on our table all while she ran the register and took orders from others both staying and to go. I will be back, just not for the nachos."
