"Can't rate it properly since we weren't aware you need a reservation, and they run out of food before closing. These things are not bad, they're good signs for food quality. I think we both just didn't expect a restaurant like that in Sherman, so we didn't check ahead of time. Staff explained that to us nicely enough, and from what little I saw the building seemed clean and nice. We'll have to come back."
"Low quality food at a high quality price. Lamb chops were tough and more fat than meat. Mahi was spicy and not advertised as being so. Truffle fries, and shrimp were overcooked and inedible. The crab cakes were all mushy like undercooked just sitting in tarter sauce. I had to wave someone down for drink refills. The best part of the meal was the, scallops, salad, bread, mac n cheese, and asparagus. We personally would not recommend to others and won't be return customs. We paid $155 for this experience."
"Poor service and cold food. Our 7 person party received very poor service when coming in to celebrate a birthday at 6pm on 2/3. I think our server (short red hair, glasses) neglected our table because she knew she would receive an auto-gratuity. We had to ask for drink refills whenever we managed to get her attention, she forgot condiments asked for with our original order and she never once asked how our food was or we could have told her all our baked potatoes were cold. She also told us we couldn’t have butter with our bread because they were conserving it which I’ve never in my life heard of at any restaurant. The pace of our meal was also very slow. We ordered quickly and our meal still took 2.5 hours as we saw her quickly tend to tables sat after us who got their food faster. At almost $100 per person, we expected more and were extremely disappointed with the service and food. Will never come back."
"This place is small but amazing! From the outside this doesn’t seem like a very fancy place, buuut once you see the menu you know it’ll be good. Staff were so nice! We didn’t know reservations were encouraged, so we just walked in 20 min after they opened and they were still able to accommodate us. They were friendly—open and close the door for us, check to see if we needed anything, and went over the menu well. Food was more than amazing! Our favorite was the steak and creamy soup. Their truffle fries were also delicious! Drinks were also great. I’d come back and recommend this place 100%!!!"
"Most likely, the best quality food you'll find near Sherman. However, they do need improvement on their old fashioned cocktail. The asparagus was slightly overcooked and not snapped off at the end, leaving the ends stringy. The lobster dinner had way too much butter, making a pretty healthy dinner, not healthy at all, which was what I was looking for. I tend to be really picky, but in all honesty, we will probably be back. We've been here twice now and have enjoyed the atmosphere. Not to mention, they have our favorite wine, the Austin Hope Cabernet."
