"Price is right, free utilities are a plus, neighbors are friendly, there is ample guest parking, and covered parking for tennants, it's close to Smith's and other shopping avenues in Farmington, and they have a seasonal pool but here are the problems I encountered which make this a 1 star review. Numerous plumbing issues, an unrepaired window screen in the bedroom (nothing was done for months nor was done by the time I left with an excuse that the owner was "thinking of putting in new windows"...never happened I probably was without a screen for close to a year). A broken AC which was not repaired for, in my estimation >5 months and prior to that, it would repeatedly break (It was routinely >90 degrees in the apartment and the only way to stay somewhat cool was to leave the bedroom window open at night (yes the one without the screen) and the risk of this, of course was tracking bugs in the house, which, fortunately was not the biggest issue I encountered. I sweated to no end for months. There is also no way to contact the owner, you can only go through the managers so if you ever have a serious complaint, you have little or no recourse without maybe an attorney or some minor legal expertise. You also need to factor in there is a coin-operated laundry and not ones in the unit (you get what you pay for). I will say this, they were fair with the security deposit refund but it took a while to get. Good luck in your apartment/home search."
