"Finding a motel in Farmington was difficult. La Quinta was no exception. The lobby was shabby. The desk clerk quoted us 100 dollars for a smokers room (we don't smoke) and then stated we needed to pay a $75 damage fee (we hadn't stayed there yet or even checked in). The clerk insisted on this and said this was non refundable. So the rate for the old motel was nearly doubled what was quoted. We travel a lot. No more la quinta for us!"
"When we walked in, the rooms were super clean!! Linen was fresh, and floors mopped. The bathrooms were even clean and up to standards. The location was convenient and had easy access. Even though they are close to the highway, it was quiet. Will come back again!"
"Lady was nice when we checked in. Rooms were very outdated, beds were small and squeaky, bathtub was stained and needed to caulk. When talking a shower it felt like there was water under the tub. So when you moved in the shower to turn you can feel the water under your feet. Charged extra money for pet fee-which is fine but no notice on that when paying online. Breakfast was a waffle, hard boiled egg, yogurt, and a couple muffins and white bread. I would have gone to a different hotel for the money we ended up paying."
"Quick family weekend. Though the room was dated, it was clean and plenty of space. Breakfast was fine, but the food was outdone by the people keeping everything stocked. Will there ever be a day when adults can use an "inside voice" at these breakfast bars? Frank at least here, the children were better trained than their parents. The pool was freezing and as usual the staff said "ok we'll warm it up" after three days no change. The staff were the best reason to stay there. Tip well cheapskates! Jeff L-8 Google Guide"
"I really hate to leave a bad review but after four stays ( business trips) I am out of giving second chances. Owner of La Quinta, please please please hire capable staff, give them proper compensation and support/training. Every time I have been there they have either cancelled my reservation, charged me more than my stay, or charged my personal card instead of the company card. There is always some issue with the computers, every time that is the excuse. The rooms are usually clean but this last time there was mold in the bathroom, and the sink would not drain (room 112). The house keeping staff have opened the door even when I am inside and tell them not to because my dog does not like strangers. The person running the breakfast bar was taking things away from me as I was using them, closing down the breakfast area early is understandable but removing things as people are using them….wow. The manager Ceci is very kind and helpful but I have to let my company and clients know to avoid this hotel until these issues are resolved. Mistakes happen but please offer your staff more training, compensation, or support to run a hospitality business properly. For those reading this that may be staying on vacation, it is not quite a safe area to stay."
