"Allen Payne opened Allen’s Garage on Historic Old Route 66 in 1955 – the same year as my car. This is still a pretty desolate area, so I can imagine back in the day Route 66 travelers must have been relieved to see a garage alongside of the road. It’s on private property and there’s no signs to keep out but please be respectful."
