Grants KOA Journey

"4 stars for an off-season stop. Hubby and I stayed one night at this campground as we passed through. Easy to find, easy to access, easy to get into spaces which were clean and level gravel. Water pressure was good, but this is the place to leave your RV and enjoy the private bathroom/shower which are clean, spacious, beautifully tiled, and have great water pressure. The proprietors are SO friendly and welcoming. Hubby ordered a pizza for dinner which was brought out to the trailer —fortunately after the snow squall finished. (Late March) Quiet and restful. Actually 5 stars for our needs."

"This campground is easy to access from the interstate without being so close you hear it. The sites are gravel, wide and level. The staff are very nice and accommodating. The food though, the food is excellent. Stay here for the food, and you will not be disappointed"

"What a nice place to stop. We only stayed overnight on our travels but would stay there again. They have food available to be delivered to your camper. The pizza was delicious we got. Never stayed at a campground that had free all you can eat breakfast. The workers are extremely friendly and loved our greeter of a friendly dog named Koa. Beautiful view of the mountains from our camper."

"Really easy access to highway 40. The guys were very helpful and friendly even made us pizzas to order for dinner and delivered it to our site. In the morning we had free pancakes. They have good wifi and is nice and quiet at night. Great place to stay for a night or two when traveling! Definitely will stay again."

"Fantastic overnight stop. They have room service from 5 pm to 8 pm! The BBQ plates and pizza were both excellent and delivered to our rig. They also had a great free continental breakfast with pancakes, cereal, coffee, etc. The walking trail was very nice and the plaques had interesting info about the lava field and area. Easy in and out on the pull through site. Very level. And to top it all off, they were able to top off our propane (which is attached to our class C) on our way out. 10/10. Will certainly stay again next time we're in the area. A real gem."
