Cimarron Rose

"Biggest apologies for waiting so long to write a review. Life got in the way. But I often drift into happy thoughts about this place. My cousins and I spent a couple nights before flying home. The host was gracious and it felt like we were in someone’s comfy home. Plenty of places to sleep, and they have many cozy corners to sit in the sun, absorb the sounds of the visiting birds. It was really comfortable there. Very private and rural. Coyotes at night and the stargazing!!! Omg. We got groceries in ABQ, and the two national monuments are a short drive in either direction. A great trail head is also very short drive on 53. Plenty of hiking and the natural beauty that is my beloved New Mexico."

"A beautiful gem of a spot in an amazing part of the country. So many interesting day hikes, or you can spend the day relaxing in the garden or walking around Cimarron Rose's private lands. Visiting this place will (hopefully) become a regular vacation destination!"

"Stayed end of May 2022. The B&B is off a quiet rural road nestled in the forest, stunning place!! The inn itself is beyond awesome, it's a very ample, clean, comfortable, private wood cabin with a fully equipped kitchen. Lovely SW furniture and decorations.Very close to El Morro and El Malpais National Monuments. Plan minimum a 2 night delightful stay at Cimmarron Rose to see these parks. Sheri and Tom will ensure a great stay via phone & email . 5 Stars!!!!!!!"

"We stayed late July 2021 for two nights. Our suite was clean and had a kitchen with everything you would need to cook a meal. We planned ahead and brought dinner to cook the first night. Cimarron Rose is so peaceful with beautiful landscaped patios outside your room. Breakfast each morning that Sheri brought to us was delicious. We hiked El Morro. This national monument has a nice visitors center and bathrooms! We would recommend Cimarron Rose to escape and relax."

"A bit pricey, but very worth it. Its so peaceful and relaxing here. We stayed in the Zuni Mountain suite with family, and it was great having separate bedrooms for privacy. My favorite part is the porch off the bedroom that has seating for 6+ at the table and a daybed, perfect for an afternoon snooze or reading a book. We didn't have much downtime to do so, but I want to visit again just to have a glass of wine and dinner outside on that porch, which has patio lights for nighttime that lend such a romantic feel. Great for a romantic getaway or family base of operations for exploring the area. The suite has everything you need for preparing meals, which helps offset costs when you can bring food to cook. I can't wait to go back for a romantic getaway in one of the other suites."
