"On Feb 15th 2024 my family was booked at the Knights Inn in central Gallup NM. A whole bad deal with Priceline led to us being put into contact with this hotel. Long story short, we were arriving at midnight. The original Knights Inn did not answer the phone about late check in (Priceline gave us a bad number). Priceline accidentally contacted this location and this location told them "No problem just have them come on in", knowing we did not have a reservation with them. We get to the original motel and they are all locked up. We then call this location, where the guy acknowledges he knew we didn't have a booking there and just wanted our business. He went ahead and told us to come on over and he would price match our Priceline price (never asking what that price was). So we called Priceline and cancelled our original reservation and told them they no longer needed to find us a room. Upon arrival at this location, we walked in, and the front desk clerk sees we are from Kansas and the first thing out of his mouth is trash talk about how Patrick Mahomes will never be as good at Tom Brady (he stated he was from New England). Not sure what that had to do with our hotel room. I proceed to tell him our price and he was like, "you get what you pay for". Then he tells us our total at his hotel. It's now 2X the price. I told him "You just said you would match this". He said, "Awww, that's too low, I can't match that" while laughing at us. So rather than give this grubbing jerk the win by price gouging us, my family of 4 slept in the Love's parking lot that night. He knew, or thought he had us between a rock and a hard spot. In the end, I lost a good night's sleep, but in the end, I win. I saved my money and they forever get blasted in this review."
"This is a great budget hotel. The rooms are what you would expect for a price point of around $50. The sheets were clean and I did not have any issues with bed bugs or any other pests. The king room was quite large and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom could have used a little updating (there were some really cracked/broken tiles). Also I did not get anything other than shampoo in the room and had to ask for towels when I realized they were not placed in the room already. Good family owned business."
"You get what you pay for. Perfect for cheap quick rest driving cross country. Bed was clean. Shower was warm. There was coffee in the room."
"Nice place for a night's sleep. Comfortable clean rooms, friendly service, and a reasonable price. Easy to locate, right off the interstate, good value in the Gallup area. Won't hesitate to book again."
"It's near great features such as rex museum with (7min) distance via car as well as a proximity to window rock (35 min) approximate. Arriving at check-in is accessible an ease, however hallways carry cigarette stench penetrated in both walls, room and bed sheet. I hardly slept as door creeks noise from upstairs, etc. Toilet is attached by near sheer force as sitting wobbles a bit. Along with mold present in ceiling and burn like holes on sheets I raised sheet and found a chip signaling sheets may not have been cleaned. Did include microwave, coffee and refrigerator along with TV with great variety of channels. Beds although soft and cushioned metal frame stuck out slightly sticking my leg leaving scratch along my lower leg."
