"Monday 9/18/23 Stopped to try the trout - great time fishing - staff very helpful to get a catch -we both got one - and they did an excellent job cooking ! (and getting the hook out of my elbow -my fault!) Great break from the normal restaurant choices when vacationing. Gary & Karen"
"We had so much fun here! Grandson caught his first fish. Then caught fish for the rest of us! Being a city boy, he hadn't ever seen fish being prepared so was educational for him as well... lol. Staff were down home people. Very nice."
"Wow! This place was so much fun! We walked in, ordered the trout dinner. A gentleman walked to the pond right in front of our table and caught our fish right before our eyes. We even had the option to catch our own fish. We decided to let the fisherman catch them for us but I would absolutely come back again to catch my own. As soon as the man caught our fish he took them to the kitchen and fried it. It was AMAZING! We will definitely be back to camp as well, they have clean bathrooms and showers, and sites and cabins. We saw a pool and a sweet little creek that runs right through. So much fun!"
"Run down facility. Cabin was very small . Rained when there be careful as no railings in areas needing them. Restroom also very small. One shower cost a quarter other was free. Don't think I heard thank you or how was your stay. Not a low price either. Sorry trying not to be insulting."
"What a little gem in the hills of SD! We stayed with our kids and some friends, and the staff were some of the most welcoming people I've encountered. They were visibly working to keep everything running smoothly and were attentive in all they did. My only complaint is paying for cold showers was a bit jarring. Would have preferred saving my quarters for the laundry. :-)"
