For every single issue I had he just referred a different doctor or told me to take it up with my old care provider (a surgeon who suggested I transition to seeing primary care). They took my height, weight blood pressure, swiped my card, and sent me on my way. You’re better off with Web MD."

"Dr Plonska is excellent. She did an exam to diagnose the bronchial flu and also authorized a chest xray. The flu finally ran its course with good ideas from Dr Plonska to minimize the impact of the symptoms. Her manner and frank conversation helped, and she was thorough in checking out the illness. The xray was easy to get and the xray tech was excellent also."

"I miss NP Liz and can’t wait for NP Ruth to be back. They are such warm and lovely people, and actually care about your wellbeing. Dr. Joanna, however, was the least helpful person and treated me like I was stupid. I went to her because of a missed period for 3-4 months. She told me “I don’t know what you expect me to do.” after seeing me for 5 minutes, as if I am wasting her time. $45 copay still required. Being forced to go to a specialist for something that a GP should know how to handle is incredibly frustrating. If a man came in for ED, he would be treated no problem. Dr. Todd also didn’t listen when I came in for extreme shoulder pain with popping and told me to “get a massage.” I have since been diagnosed with hypermobility of my joints. Some of them don’t listen because they don’t seem to care."

"I've seen Dr. Zoltan twice now and was impressed each time. He listens thoughtfully and with care, gives you time to talk, presents his thoughts and gives you choices on how to proceed with care when there are multiple good options. He seems both knowledgeable and compassionate. I originally picked him for Primary Care because he was easy to get in to see on my schedule, but I'm glad to have him as my Doctor. I've enjoyed my interactions with the other staff at Gunbarrel Family Medicine as well from reception, to nurses, x-ray, and other diagnostic staff."
