I spent 10 years trying to find the right fit and within the first 10 minutes of my patient intake with Dr. Batterbee, I knew I had finally found them. Between the two of them, Debbie, and Valerie, I have been able to achieve an understanding within myself I never knew was possible or existed. I am forever indebted to this remarkable team of heroes."

"Dr. Batterbee is wonderful but after only one appointment here I will not return. His receptionist is one of the rudest people I have ever encountered in my life. It seems I am not the only person who has had this experience either. When I tried to schedule my next appointment and explained that I would not be able to come in for a few weeks the receptionist was incredibly rude and snapped at me more than once. She questioned my ability to schedule an appointment and to prioritize things in my life. I offered many days that I had availability but she was frustrated that I was not available at the time that was most convenient for her to schedule me. I understand scheduling conflicts and remained open to continue discussing options to find a day that would work for both her schedule and mine. Unfortunately, after her tone change to condescending I will not be back. Thank you again to Dr. batter be, I enjoyed our one interaction but unfortunately while your receptionist remains I will have to find a different provider."

"Dr Baterbee is great but he has the rudest, least accommodating receptionist I’ve ever encountered. I understand that they have rules they must follow and God knows I wouldn’t want anyone to get in trouble but there are ways that you can speak to the Doctors patients that shows compassion. Instead of saying “we can’t keep doing this” in a reprimanding tone, she could have said “I really want to help you all but I need this done first...”. Much more compassionate and productive. We will be switching to another doctor."

"Dr. Batterbee, Debbie and Valarie are amazing people. I have recently had an insurance change and they have worked with me while going through this process. I have seen Dr. Batterbee for the last three years and have yet to find a psychiatrist that cares for their patients like he does. Valarie and Debbie provide great communication and are incredibly compassionate. With my recent insurance change I have struggled to find a provider like this one. I honestly am about to switch back to them and am willing to pay out of pocket because of the amazing care this team has provided. They are all very easy to talk to and very patient and understanding. They go above and beyond for their patients."

"My first appointment with Dr. Batterbee was yesterday. He was super caring and helpful and listened to and answered all of my questions. I called last night with a question and sent an email today with information for Dr. Batterbee, as I have a communication disability and cannot always communicate right in office, and the receptionist was right on it, called me back, took down my question and offered for me to write more if I think of anything else for him when he's in office tomorrow. This is the first time I've felt that a psychiatrist was truly in it to help their patients. Thank you Dr. Batterbee and receptionist Valerie!"
