"These folks do amazing work. I have an Arc'teryx Cerium LT that separated at one of the seams less than a year after I bought it. Arc'teryx refused to repair it, citing that it wasn't a warranted failure (claiming it didn't look like a failure, but rather a tear induced externally) and they wouldn't let me pay a fee to fix it saying they couldn't do those kinds of repairs during the pandemic as the government wouldn't allow it. They offered to give me a small discount on a brand new coat (the amount of the discount was nearly insulting given what I had paid for this coat less than a year prior), but they no longer had this color available, and i really love it. They eventually gave me the name of Gear Re-store, and I reached out for a quote. One of the most important things I was looking for in a repair was a close color match (my coat is Iliad, almost aqua or teal, an atypical color and hard to match, unlike black) and a company that would replace the down that leaked out. These folks did both, and for a very reasonable fee. The turnaround was quick, communication was solid, and the repaired coat looks as good as new - the color match was so close you can't tell it was repaired unless I point it out. HIGHLY recommend Gear re-store for any gear repairs based on my experience, and will unquestionably use them again in the future if my needs arise."
