"I had had chronic back pain for years, but it was my neck and shoulder pain that first brought me to specialized. First and foremost, my PT always addresses and helps to get my pain controlled rather quickly. Then they take the time to teach me correct movement patterns and give me exercises to reinforce them. They have helped get my back, shoulder, and neck pain under control. The staff does an excellent job of helping to prioritize appointments and calling to fit you in if you're on a wait list. I had a bout with vertigo last July, and I was luckily seen quickly, as I was leaving the country for several months. My PT Ellen even helped me make a video of the exercise to help alleviate it. Sadly, I've had to go back to that video since then, but I felt so grateful to have it. My main therapists have been Bill and Melissa, and they are both excellent!! If you need Physical Therapy, Specialized is the place to go!"

"The front desk are kind, respectful , professional and caring, Matt, Lauren Stevie . My therapist is Monica and she has helped me so much with back pain and pelvic floor dysfunction. She is so knowledgeable, of course.she is very patient with me and explains my treatment . I am so glad to be doing so much better. They all genuinely care about their patients."

"Visits are rushed. They do very little and bill for services they don’t actually perform. When you do home exercises (and none on site), they should not be charging you for “therapeutic exercises” at every session. They also need better communication between therapists and admin staff. If I’m told by the therapist that my session was cleared with my insurance and is covered, I don’t expect to later receive a bill for the full cost of the visit."

"After having thrown out my back roughly every 3-5 years for the past 18 years, I threw it out again the worst I ever have about a month ago. After being referred here by a spine specialist who highly recommended them, I've been working with both Ian and Melissa with the goal of healing it up this time, and never throwing it out again. They've both been great to work with, and I've seen a lot of improvement in the three weeks I've been working with them. I think Melissa also found my core problem, which was me never using one specific muscle (probably because it was painful after one of the other times I hurt my back, so I avoided using it). All in all I've been very impressed so far, and will update this review once I'm done working with them."
