"I had dinner here with my husband and a friend. The food and drinks were delicious. The wait staff were helpful and accommodating. We had a great time and I look forward to coming back."
"We were here on a slow weeknight. Waiter greeted us and was friendly and helpful with the menu. Unfortunately, after we ordered the service level dropped significantly. We ordered olives, a cheese/meat combo, three tapas and dessert. Every single dish was brought out separately with 10-20 minutes between servings. We had ordered the olives to go with the cheese/meat plate (and mentioned this to the waiter), but they were brought out ten minutes prior to the plate. I get that the cheese plate is a course on its own and I get the different pace of eating in Southern European countries. But I’ve been to plenty of tapas restaurants (including in Spain) and I know you’re meant to eat various tapas together, not one at a time. Patatas Bravas are not meant to be eaten as a solo dish, they are meant as a companion dish to other tapas, for example. We asked a couple of times if things were coming out and were told they were on their way. Very frustrating. In addition, the waiter got one of our orders wrong. As to food quality we found the omelet and Bravas dishes to be underwhelming. Bravas needed more sauce. The chicken croquettes were delicious as was the specialty peach dessert."
"Get a reservation before coming. On Tapas Tuesday they have 9 options of Tapas for $8. You must get their muscles (Mejillones con Tomate) and order an extra plate of bread to dip. The bread is phenomenal. The Setas Salteadas (mushrooms) are great. Everyone I go with tends to agree that some of their plates could use a bit more seasoning. Their croquettes are decent. They have a great wine selection. Very small beautiful restaurant. Their service is incredible and I appreciate that. They explain every dish they bring out to you."
"Absolutely phenomenal tapas, top-notch service, and a great atmosphere. My wife and I stopped by for a date night and everything we ordered was incredible. We ordered some tapas that we had in Spain, like pan con tomate and jamon serrano, along with some unique tapas we haven't tried before, like a special flatbread with quail eggs, and it was all incredible. The portion sizes are solid for the price and our server was incredibly attentive, swapping out our dishes and refilling our water regularly. We highly recommend stopping by and we can't wait to be back to try more tapas!"
"This is a pretty good place. The food was great especially the paella, it felt very fresh too even though I usually have my doubts of ordering sea food in a landlocked state. We generally had a good time from appetizers to dessert. The atmosphere was busy but we had a nice little booth area and felt like a private dining experience. We would totally go back here again. In my opinion, the reviews on something unrelated to the quality of their food and complaints of price make the ratings down for this place. I thought the place, the food and experience were all great. I would say it's arguably pricy? But I felt like it was good for the value. It's near downtown, a short walk from Capital Hill so you can stop by here after hanging around the area or have dinner and then walk around. In general, if you're in the area, exploring Denver and have a nice meal of Spanish tapas this is a great place for it. Pretty busy on the weekends so you should probably book first."
