We came here for a birthday celebration and everything was phenomenal. Delicious and stunning food and cocktails, knowledgeable and friendly staff, and the vibes were immaculate. We tried almost the entire menu (lemme tell ya, that's the way to go) so get a group of your friends and order one of everything! I even had a bite of steak for the first time in 10 years and wow, made me rethink my life haha Our seafood hating friend LOVED the mussels and branzino dishes. It's not cheap, but food like this shouldn't be. A night to remember."

"What an absolute treat! Brian, Syd and the crew might just be the hottest restaurant team, in every sense of the word. I stumbled in here with some colleagues and we were all blown away by the environment, attention to detail, and quality of food. I had the best scallop of my life. Such amazing ambience and an awesome Somm and door dude. We were all blown away and Brian even gave us a tour. Fascinating dude with an amazing back story, from Peru originally but he’s been all over the world. Be a regular here, I am."

"The restaurant has a somewhat one-note ambiance with lots of muted grays and blacks. Low light is punctuated occasionally by interesting artistic objects sitting on shelves. There are evidently four distinct spaces here: the bar, the restaurant, the market, and a fourth private space for small events and tasting menu. The bar has cozy seating area and a view to the street. The restaurant is in the back with no natural light. We did not see the other two spaces when we dined. The highlights - The food was outstanding with lots of interesting combinations and influences from around the world. Chef's flavor combinations were subtle and delightful and literally every dish we ordered gave us all something to try that we had never experienced before. - the cocktails were also exceptional. Very interesting flavor profiles served in beautiful glasses with perfectly clear ice cubes. - the service was as good as it could possibly be. Our server knew the food, alcohol and wine menus inside and out and was able to provide us excellent insight. His recommendations were much appreciated and he was able to share stories with us about the chef's background, the pastry chef's background, and the concept for the restaurant overall. He was there when we needed him and let us enjoy our dinner and conversation when we did not. Other notes - there's a heavy focus in the sourcing of food on sustainability. However, we came to know that many of the dishes and items around the restaurant had been sourced from overseas through custom processes which would have required bulky shipping and packaging. It seemed contrary to the sustainability message - the music in the restaurant was so loud and the volume seemed to vary quite a bit from song to song or the intensity of the song made it seem louder. It was sometimes difficult to converse. - while the food and service were excellent, the cost of the meal seemed out of line with the overall experience."
