"introduced the children, still got them wrong on an incident report, didn’t follow court orders for father to have medical training. This is a family run business be careful because they come after them to enforce orders. If you were a by the book parent that wants things, documented and detailed, they don’t do that, they want the parent there, but has to be there to make money off of the family. Record all calls and communication with them because it is the best way to prove your case. They’ll even go as far to write letters against you as a parent that’s just trying to do things correctly."
"A very shady organization. Convinced they are committing insurance fraud to make money"
"Behavioral Health: Two thumbs down. I do not recommend taking your kids here for therapy. You're likely to get stuck with a fresh-from-online-degree-programmed unlicensed social worker who can't handle the types of real-world family issues kids deal with these days. This establishment needs serious training in trauma informed care. Maybe it's just the office staff and "A" particular therapist, but they took sides instead of remaining impartial, lost paperwork, didn't have us fill out intake forms until after 4 sessions and I requested it, tried to make me give up my court-ordered parenting time to the kids' emotionally abusive father, cut off communication with me, cancelled over half the kids' appointments, treated my daughter, to whom they gave a trauma-related diagnosis, like she was in trouble all the time, locked us out before closing, and then cut the kids off from therapy without making a single referral. The therapist lied in the records that I pulled them out of therapy even after her supervisor asked her to change it. My kids will probably never trust a therapist again after she called their dad into session and let him interrogate them about whatever he wanted to know, leading to him becoming irate and irrational. I, on the other hand, was not allowed to help my daughter communicate her fears to the same therapist because, I guess, standing up for and protecting your child is frowned upon there. Literally the worst experience in behavioral health I've ever had."
"Mariela is my mentor and I love her so much she is the kindness person ever I also love new horizons because they help kids be themselves."
