"It’s sad & disappointing what has become of this place as it all could have been well prevented. I used to come here every night from Jan-Oct, they had great bartenders, strong drinks, a ton of regulars that came nightly, we had a lot of good times, and as customers we spent a ton of money. These days, Kava Colorado is an empty shell of its former self. It is noticeably worse & worse every time I have gone back since October. Most of the time it’s just 1 or 2 of their rude bartenders in there, not a customer in sight. Perhaps the worst thing about present day Kava Colorado is the very weak, very expensive drinks. Last 10+ times I was there I asked bartender ‘J’ to sample the kava in front of me & tell me it doesn’t taste just kava flavor water. Every time refused. I asked another bartender there named ‘K’, she too refused. From a nationwide kava bar kavasseur; i find it to be a red flag when a kava bar employee does not drink the drinks they prepared themselves. I’m also tired of seeing the only 2 to 3 people in there spaced out on mushrooms staring at a screen for visuals, or going out back to smoke pot while they are supposed to be working. Kava bars are supposed to be safe & sober places that welcome everyone. This place is like a family of 4 that doesn’t take too kindly to strangers. (Edited to remove names)"

"Fairly new to kava in general, but this shop is right around the corner and I couldn't be happier. The teas are amazing, I've started really enjoying kava and it's a place where you can come and relax. The staff has always been courteous and made wonderful drinks. If you're looking for a cozy spot to be safe with some great non-alcoholic drinks, then you should definitely stop in. Plus their rewards program is a really nice bonus and they're open late which is amazing. Highly recommended!"

"Update: BOBA TEA WAS ADDED TO THEIR DAILY MENU!! WHOOO! I already love this place, but now their hours have been extended (even on Sundays) AND they’ve added Boba Tea to the menu. I’ve been consuming Pearl tea (now boba lol) for over 20 years so I am VERY picky and Kava Colorado doesn’t disappoint! The boba pearls are made fresh daily & they have my favorite Taro flavor. I enjoyed it very much, plus they added CBD to my drink upon request. I was very impressed. I didn’t think I could love this place more than I already did, but they managed to hook me even more. I can’t thank their amazing staff enough for always accommodating me & meeting many of my needs! ❤️ This is the perfect place for one stop shopping for coffee, tea, kratom, kava, tea ware and organic body products. I can order yummy drinks & have CBD, kava or kratom added…whatever my body needs that day! The two things I love the most are that EVERYONE is KIND (very rare these days) & the long hours of operation. I can stop in pretty much anytime of day, which is helpful because I’m always procrastinating things. Love this place!! It’s like a 2nd home."
